I pick Dubois to win....BUT, Kabayel will have him digging deep into his mental strength. DDD is talented physically, but his mental strength is questionable
There's nothing that'll make you question if you want it or not like a sustained body attack
Those last few shots that were landed when Morrell was out on his feet might be career altering
I remember when James Kirkland landed those two shots on Glen Tapia when he was out on his feet....dude was never the same afterwards
you brits need to go cross-train with mexicans to learn the left hook
Dynamite Daniel had countless opportunities to check left hook Furious Fabio's wide ass right
Dynamite Daniel with a left hook could have taken Furious Fabio out along the ropes much earlier
Furious Fabio was shifted to his right, but Dynamite Daniel kept smothering himself
These are facts. Could've got him out of there earlier if he just shot the left look
Seems like Usyk wants to clean out the entire generation
Anyways, Wilder is getting beat up lol BUT, a punchers chance. The term "punchers chance" pretty much sums up his entire career
Rigo-Donaire. Didn't think that someone throwing one big punch at a time could beat Rigo at that time
Bivol-Canelo. Canelo was evolving into the "jab jab jab, hard right hook....jab jab jab, hard right hook, left hand to the body" fighter that we see today. Thought Bivol was going to beat the crap out of Canelo if he used this tactic. Won big, and haven't bet since
Good fight, probably a needed one for Moses to see where he's at from a mental perspective. You kinda need to dig deep to beat Kabayel because he takes the gas out with his body attack
He needs more rounds before fighting the big boys
Cotto-Hatton would've been FOTY candidate. Cotto probably would've beat the crap out of him and stop Hatton in the later rounds. But great stylistic matchup
Winky vs Oscar would've been a good one too
GGG-Pirog. Pirog was a good fighter. Back injury was unfortunate
Floyd-Paul Williams. Most of us wanted that. And I've never heard Floyd say anything bad about Paul Williams, so he has some respect
Maybe a few more fights man. Moses hasn't been past 6 rounds. It's a really tough task to put him in against Usyk, who has shown to turn up pace as rounds progress. A 12 round fight vs Usyk is probably too much of an ask right now. Fighting more rounds is essential experience needed to fight someone like Usyk, who has an elite tank
I don't even care where it happens anymore, as long as we get great fights lol 2024 was much better than many years we had. Plus, I was getting tired of staying awake till 1am to watch main events. Then Saudi cards end at 6pm; my sleep schedule benefitted from this Turki dude
Would like to see it. Would favor Usyk though; the gap between foot speed is pretty large. I would argue having fast feet is the best asset to have in boxing
OR, he would have been KO'd sooner...
Yeah, that counter right hook from Zhang caught him bad. Would've got caught earlier if he opened up. Ultimate weapon from a southpaw fighting a one handed right hand puncher
I respect Wilders power and resilience. Plus, for a 210 pounds guy, he has a pretty solid chin. He still sucks overall, but I'm sure even his haters would agree that he's probably the biggest overachiever in the past 50 years in boxing. In a sense, acknowledging that shows some sort of respect
He could lose a few million, and I wouldn't care one bit lol I'm just tryna see some good fights man, we have had some very dark times. Gotta cherish it for however long it lasts
As much as we as a group rarely agree on anything for the past many years, I think the only time we had a majority census agreement was on the belief that Jamie Munguia was an extremely protected, highly overrated, almost bumass fighter
The topic of Jamie Munguia being a bum even brought some enemies together in this forum lol
Somewhat off topic, and somewhat still on topic. JMM is probably the most elite juicer of all time if you think about it
Drinking piss is a 1000 IQ move if you're on roids. Instead of pissing the roids out of your system in a toilet, you just put the roids back in your system. Maximum efficiency, and elite level dirty
Yeah, don't get hit by the left hook lol this dude literally can't take it. Ryan couldve thrown a bolo blind Danny Garcia type left hook at Devin in the first fight, and he would've hit him
Devin and his people claim that he's highly skilled and everything, so let's see if he could neutralize that one punch...
Canelo vs GGG 2. Came forward towards the heat and made GGG back up most of the fight. Fought completely different from the first fight
I wouldn't say it's a style Canelo never used before, but it is a style that I wasn't expecting and one that GGG wasn't used to
Doesn't need to tbh lol I know plenty of 150 pound amateurs from Chicago boxing gyms that could whoop Logan.
And plus, fighting Floyd is discouraging for top level fighters. Imagine you're a youtuber and you look across the ring and see Floyd there lol you throw a punch and miss, and you're eventually tired. How much learned encouragement and ability to adjust do you think he has? Lol
Yeah man, you caught me. I was trying to avoid being caught by not saying my usual stuff like, "at the end of the day", and "when it's all said and done", and "he's a hellueva fighter" lol
Is that you floyd?
you gay midget coward
Yeah, he has a chance, but a punchers chance imo. Garcia makes some strong technical mistakes. Not even counting the ones that we see in his linear footwork and limited head movement. The biggest flaw imo is the way he sacrifices defense for his speed and power. He throws his punches with his chin up and lifted; even when he dropped Luke with the left hook, his chin wasn't tucked and his right arm didn't cover his face. Think Amir Khan and how Amir threw his shots without regard for defense. Technical mistakes like these will lead to bigger issues. Not saying that Davis will undoubtedly time this and shoot his shots in the middle of Garcia's combinations or anything, because nothing is given. But technical flaws like these will lead to ugly losses for Garcia at some point in his career. Davis has the tools to exploit this because he's just as fast. But at the same time, Tank comes in to some of his fights looking like he cheated his training. So yeah, Garcia has a chance, but his technical flaws make his chances a "punchers chance" imo
