all top fighters are on peds
and the number one biggest proof of this is the number of guys over 35 in the top 10.
it was basically unheard of until the early 2000s.
70s, 80s, 90s guys were shot over 35. holmes was a shell of himself at 38 vs tyson. Ali and SRL shot over 35. even 90s you could see chavez and hearns past it at that age.
you could count on like one hand the number of exceptions. Foreman had a 10 year break which went a long away and he was a slow plodder with power when he returned. Duran and Archie moore the rare exceptions.
Then out of nowhere you started seeing guys like Hopkins, tarver, wlad, JMM, Pac, Floyd, Vitali, Mosley and now Usyk, Fury, Beter, Lara, Rigo, Donaire, crawford ect all these guys after 35 were still ruling their divisions. Its super common now.
Theyre all on peds that is why there are so many guys 35-42 are at the top of their divisions beating the younger guys.
I mean you got like 3 of the guys who were undisputed - beter, crawford and Usyk, who were all over 35. Imagine if that happened in 1990s, theres no way.
Everyone in every sport is performing better into later ages. The general population is aging differently. There is a far greater understanding of exercise and nutrition, compared to a few decades ago. I just turned 59. When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, you never saw ripped and muscled men my age. Very few people of any age worked out regularly. Now it’s very common. I’m a little out of it right now; but at 54, I was in eye-popping shape. I see men my age these days, and even older, that inspire me to get back into top form. The more people you see like that the more you will see, because they prove it’s possible and inspire others.

I've already said everybody is juicing, so I agree with the statement. Like Roadblock said tho, nutrition and other advances play a part altogether. And a lot f guys just don't fight as much either, big difference there too.
But mainly, although it's an Interesting idea, the problem is your assertion that old guys top the lists because of steroids. If everybody is using, that means young guys too. And a good young fighter on roads beats a good old fighter on roads. The playing field is level again, but at a higher level.
Gear makes all athletes better than without it. But an old roided guy still won't be at the level of a young roided guy.
OP missed this rather obvious, logical point.
Scientific conditioning and diet along with more athletes spells higher performance and longevity, this is the evolution of all sports.
Time doesn't stand still performance is improving in every aspect of modern life.
This is true and what I believe. With new nutrition and science, athletes can go longer than before. That said, if the dude is nearly 40 and looks more ripped than he did in his late 20s and early 30s, it might be questionable. Considering the loss of T as you hit 40 and muscles start to deteriorate, without some kind of supplementing enhancer, you're simply destined to lose the mass and look a lot more soft.
Can see this now if you watch guys like Pacquiao fighting after 40, Mosley in his 40s looked hella soft. Now to the opposite, compare them to Sergio Martinez when he fought that dude in 2023. He's like 47 or something in that match and absolutely shredded. No drug testing was done leading up to that fight, that's for sure, lol.
Somewhat off topic, and somewhat still on topic. JMM is probably the most elite juicer of all time if you think about it
Drinking piss is a 1000 IQ move if you're on roids. Instead of pissing the roids out of your system in a toilet, you just put the roids back in your system. Maximum efficiency, and elite level dirty
This made me chuckle...

i wonder if u do take peds and get away with even small amounts do they over time take a toll on your in your future???? they clearly increase str and stamina which benefits athletes but they may affect your heart and organs long term and hormone levels and other stuff its a risky game for success
I can't speak for everyone, but Hopkins, May and Crawford all lived pretty clean lives and were gym rats.
While good in their mid-late 30s, there were signs of decline in Bernard and Floyd. They clearly weren't their younger selves. Bud is on borrowed time in that regard.
Advances in modern medicine and many athletes not being as destructive to their bodies in their physical prime. Plus fighters are much more inactive so not as much wear and tear.
No different than the NBA where Lebron is 40, Curry is 36, and Kevin Durant is 37 still playing as top guys.
Some things you didnt take into factor. Loma, Usyk, Lara, Rigo, Beterbiev all these guys turned pro late because they have long amateur careers. So Theyre already like 27-28 by the time they start getting pro fights.
Also guys in the 70s and 80s fought longer rounds AND they fought more frequently which grinded them down. The Big names in boxing today fight like 2x year max and this preserves their bodies.
yeah but lots of guys have easy pro fights at the start and some for a lon gtime they dont go life and death damage and are very fresh and undamaged until they eventuyalkly take harder fights down the line

Fury, Canelo got positve test and Beter had atypical findings. All on the P4P list. Nobody is benefiting if fighters get banned so there is no incentive to combat it. Pro boxing is not a sport but entertainment.

Name one LHW from the old times that had trapèzoid muscles as big as Yarde.
