I tried making a thread like this in another forum and had it promply deleted.More along the lines of "If you needed about ten guys to have your back against 2-1 odd's in the street" Nigel Benn-Tony Ayala-Mike Tyson-Joe Frazier-Saad Muhammad-Jack Dempsey-Sammy Fuentas-Roberto Duran-Julian Letterlough-Ike Ibeabuchi-
Heavyweight Michael something.. He was a gold medalist. Man I thought he was the shit, the next roy jones.. but then he got KO and never saw him again.Michael Bennet? He had a chin made of wet cardboard.
Hes a former toughman champion trumped up and pushed into the Real world of boxing at the hands of Art Deore (??).
At least former toughman contestants like Morrison and Haugen actually had the stamina and skills to fight past 4 rounds consistantly.
Butterball is like a boxing bear in a circus or State fair.

Thats nice and all too true.
Anyone can sit on the outside and play arm chair quarter back but until you have walked in a fighters shoes, Respect that fact.
It matters not if your a 3-11 record Joe sixpack or 25-0 top contender.Respect is due!

Just jump in the discussion and have at it. There's a multitude of things to talk about, whether it's the current crop of fighters or thoughts on fighter's from the past, whatever you want that pertains to boxing.
Welcome to the site. Thanks,Hopkins fan?Me as well, tactical master and I think he'll put on one more clinic against Calzaghe.
Excuse the slow response's ,trying to get the hang....This is really a fine tunned Forum, very sharp and "clean".
I'm banking on Hopkins to do what he does best, and that's offset his opponet. It's no secret that Calzaghe throws punches in bunches and he's a very active and hyper guy to fight. But what Hopkins does best is offset the rhythm of his opponets, and I don't think he gets any credit for doing so.
Constant aggression is not the key to beating Bernard Hopkins, I think you have to beat him in spurts of mixed energy and counterpunching. If Joe rushes in on Bernard I can't see anything but Hopkins countering with that overhand right, and quickly tying Joe up to offset his rhythm.
Wash, rinse and repeat. People forget how amazing Hopkins looked against Tarver not long ago, he had a horribly ugly fight with Wright and that's what people focus on. Still, despite the ugliness I didn't find more than 4 rounds to give to Wright. He played into Bernard's gameplan the entire fight.
Hopkins can be one of the most frustrating guy's to follow.Waits to long when he could seemingly step through and put a hurt on some opponents (like early career). That cost him big vs.Taylor 1& 2.
I think he likes to break guys mentally and just beat them up.Calzaghe is a comer but the second he stops I think Hopkins will get in his head and offset tempo.I have changed my opinion on Calzaghe from not thinking much to really respect. All out and not afraid to get in a mixup,Cocky guy too.
"The Atomic Bull" strikes me as nice "Touch of sleep" D.Williamson. Also I would love to hear the real stories behind Juan "The hispanic causing panic" Lazcano .
Donate is there to pay your bets. If you lose a bet with a user you go there, enter their username and the amount you bet and then purchase it, it takes the points out of your bank and gives it to them and the bet is done with.

Nah, i think some fights are still entertaining!
Some fights are very entertaining regardless of going the distance.IMO,Ko's are at times overrated. But that display last night left alot to be desired.
Just looking at her eyes here you can tell she is imagining that pole as my cock as she goes over it in her head the multiple daily fuck sessions we enjoyed. Oh Yeahhhh.
Has he got a comeback lol That face was made for multi-Frosting's.
There might have been more to The cancellation of Fridays planned fight with Terry smith than is being revealed.Hope he wins election.When/If he steps up in class I think he is a KO waiting to happen.
You kidding right?
I don't think there is one fighter in the world that is capable of pressuring Calzaghe, that's just impossible.
Pot shot him, yeah maybe...
Counter him, maybe...
But pressure him?! Impossible.Read.Toney Use His (Calzaghes) pressure against him (Calzaghe). No question calzaghe would look to exploit Toneys Bad habit of fighting about 2 minutes a round and pressure Toney. He would walk into Toneys (prime) sneaks and counters all night. That 6 inch right that Toney had would wreck Calzaghe.
It is sad that any time Toney is mentioned, there is a stipulation:If Toney is in shape, etc.etc. Sad but true.
That being said I think Toney would break Calzaghe down and use his pressure against him to win a decision
