chavez vs Hatton?

because that version of Hatton would have given tsyzu no room to work. Even at his fittest Tsyzu would not have found enough room to get Hatton away. Hatton was like a man possessed that night and IMO no version of tsyzu would have beaten him. Don't forget Tsyzu had already been beaten of Phillips and Phillips was no where near the fighter Hatton was but...Hatton didnt dominate Tsyzu...it was pretty close. and Tsyzu was able to land the left hook and occasional right hands as Hatton came in a lot, and mostly only fell apart toward the end of the fight. I dont know, it kind of seems like a more precise, in shape Tsyzu would have fought better and not have gotten as tired. the Phillips fight seemed like a wake up call for Tsyzu. I thought he became more of a boxer after that and stopped trying to go for the kill as much. And was overall a better fighter because of that. oh yea, and as for the topic, it would have been Chavez via tko. the man almost never got real KOs, but was an excellent finisher. I dont think Hatton would win more than 2 rounds at most.

It would have been a great fight before Hatton was KO'd. Chavez was just too much. IMO

Let's be crystal clear once and for all: Ricky Hatton is not an elite JWW. There is not a single elite JWW that Hatton could beat in their prime. Not Floyd, not Oscar, not Chavez, nor Duran, nor Pryor, nor Shane, nor Pernell, nor....NOT EVEN TSZYU. Hatton is not a bum. But he isn't on that level. Ricky Hatton has benefited from exceptional timing. His career is littered with the carcasses of old men. I included some guys who went from 135=>147 The hatton that fought Tsyzu that night would beat any version of Tsyzu

Prime Chavez would destroy Hatton on the inside consistant combination punching and catch him with lefts coming in all night.

I seriously don't like betting against Hatton who fights his own fight, Id go with a prime Chavez, but Tszyu beat a Chavez easily ok wasnt his prime but still .... would be closer than people think I think chavez is too much... if a feather fisted mayweather KO hatton Chavez takes him out of there with ease

Man what a fight this would be. Hatton seem to get hurt to the body and Chavez is THE master of body punching. I think Chavez wins this one by brutal KO. Yep. I think somebody already made this thread.
