Khan is the biggest fight possible for brook.
Brook is the biggest fight possible for khan.
What's the problem?
But seeing how this fight hasn't manifested what is stopping Brook in fighting the top dogs in his division? Is he afraid of losing his belt which would ruin his chance of fighting Khan
Like I said Khan doesn't care about finance, he is filthy rich. Khan doesn't need Kell at all, but Kell needs Khan. Without Khan Kell makes 100-200 grand per fight, with Khan he can make a couple of million. Khan knows this and doesn't want to give it to him because he rightly believes Kell hasn't fought enough top level competition so he wants kell to go out and fight top 10 fighters before they fight. Instead of doing that Kell is lining up bums for the remainder of the year until he can call khan out again for a payday.
It's not the biggest event possible for Khan, that would be Khan-May or Khan-Pac or Khan-Cotto. They're both as bad as each other, Khan won't fight Kell to give him that payday so he can be financially secured for life. Kell won't fight anybody with a pulse until he gets the payday from Khan. But Algerie is a BIGGER and better fighter than Gavin will ever be, a former world champion, who beat provodnikov and Taylor. Gavin lost to Bundu ffs, there is absolutely no comparison, Gavin is a shocking fight.
Because Thurman has been calling out Brook for a while now and they ignore him like he doesn't exist. He is willing to come to the UK but Brook and Hearn keep calling out Khan even though they know he won't fight them until next year but then go on to fight the likes of Frankie Gavin and Bum Bum Rios. Do you not see the hypocrisy here?
Brook fanboys are blind to see it mate
Brook would be fighting someone of note if Khan wasn't ducking him.
I didn't know Khan was the only fighter in the 147 pound division who was worthy of note.
if brook is hype then why not fight him for a huge payday as well as a belt instead of fighting a guy coming off a loss who has no fans and no belt hmmm
Khan hasn't flat out denied fighting Brook I'm sure well see the fight next year sometime, but having said that why won't Brook prove Khan wrong by taking on the likes of Thurman, Marquez, Bradley, I mean it's all well and good calling out names but when push comes to shove his gone back to fighting domestic level fighters.
More like 2-3 million for fighting Algieri. People don't realise that Khan is worth over 30million, he can retire tomorrow and be set for life, money is not his priority. Just because Khan doesn't want to give Kell that payday to set him for life doesn't give him the green card to fight scrubs until he gets it does it? Frankie Gavin then Bum bum Rios are terrible fights, why is he not
so because khan is worth 30 million, he should fight guys who are coming off losses instead of fighting a champion from his country in the biggest event possible for him?
When you duck a fighter, you lose all room too speak on that fighters opponents.
Why does Brook get a free pass when it comes to fighting top opposition, Khan has constanlty proved his worth against 140 and 147 devision fighters yet Brook has only one significant win in Shawn Porter. Kieth said he would make it for May to fight Brook so what happened to the notion of fighting the biggest and the best>
Khan fighting Algieri means the same thing as brook fighting gavin.
Nothing
Why doesn't khan fight thurman? They have the same manager. Khan-thurman is even easier too make than brook-thurman.
You're not fooling anyone by trying to take some of Khan's shame and put it on Brook. We all see what's going on. Brook wanted to make the best fight he could have made. Khan didn't. All you're trying to do is distract from that.
My intention wasnt that of fooling anyone, yes Brook showed his desperation in trying to get Khan to fight him which I've stated we will likely see next year but why cant Brook use the same notion and try to make a fight with other 147 pounders? It seem s like Brook is cashing out on a big payday before he starts taking risks

That made me spit out my drink LMAO
how did the khan hype die down so fast? he was "amazing" after the alexander fight and now he's everything but and he hasn't even had a fight since! And I wasn't one of the all too many riding Khan's d1ck, I just find it surprising and a bit disgusting how you dudes hop on and off so quickly when the agenda fits. Just about every fl0mo considered him the best available before the Pac fight got signed and now he ain't sh1t, he gets stopped by Brook?
Because this site is filled with casuals who don't know much about boxing, just like you said when the agenda fits they like to hop off the bandwagon. In my honest opinion the Khan that thought Alexander would be to much for Kell Brook, in and out fast combination will be the key to victory for Amir Khan
If we look at it this way.
- Fought 1 live opponent in his entire career who he beat by close margins in a hug fest boring fight.
- Get's all the UK support + support from all those who hate Khan.
- Doesn't get called out for fighting bums upon bums and holding the title hostage.
- Calls out his domestic rival PURELY for monetary reasons and nothing else (You think if Thurman and Khan swapped places Kell would be so adamant about the domestic bust up, NO WAY).
Conclusion = Whatever Kell does he has his loyal followers and those who hate Khan, get's next to no criticism whilst others who have accomplished more and fought better names get shat on daily as if they have never amounted to anything.
He really is 'Special Kell' in this regard.
Couldn't have said it better myself
When Khan knows hes in against punchers he fights the perfect fight, Danny Garcia he underestimated and so did he with prescott. If he trains with the intention of knowing that hes opponent cant spark hes head clean off i.e Maidana, then Id favor Khan against any puncher
Lamont would be the second best guy Kell would have fought so that's a step in the right direction for sure.
#Kellcameupthehardway -LacedUp
I couldn't stop laughing when Kell said that he had to go through it the hard way.
He just got a bigger payday in Pacquiao.
Nobody's ducking Khan.
In my book fella that's called ducking, a rule for one and a rule for another when the agenda fits right

chino doesn't stay down, he beats the counts, khan amir say the same thing?
i think he khan't
And exactly what did beating the count do for chino? There was only one winner that night and it definitely wasn't no Maidana
