Angel doesn't want it but Danny doesn't mind. Another interview Danny says Khan is the star and that's where the money is so if it makes sense he has no problem, DSG has never turned down a fight he just fights who they offer him...even if it is Rod Salka.
Easy translation: I would lose in a rematch. Forget it. Khan's too dangerous for my style. F##k the money that goes with it.
Dangerous or not this still doesn't change the fact that Khan is a sucker for counter left hooks and Danny throws those all too well. Just ask Amir.
Yes but we know that Angel is the voice and leader in that camp. If Angel says no Khan rematch, then there will be no rematch, even if Garcia claims he would in an interview.
If it's the biggest money fight out there and seen as an easy win, i'll take Haymon's influence over Angel's.
If Khan beat anybody for any WW title and that fight comes up they will take it. He is right in saying that he would not had gotten a rematch if he would had lost. The trick into making more money for the fight is to say that you would never fight the guy when they want to fight you
I understand his position. He's right when he says that they'd have never gotten a rematch if it was the other way around.
If the money is right though, they'd take it. I don't see how Khan is going to stay away from that left hook.
That may be the case, but the difference is that Danny would not have had the name and notoriety that Khan's name carries.
Khan will always be in the mix, due to his name but if he continues to win at 147 it's gonna be hard for Angel to justify Danny not fighting him.
Danny just did a video the other day with the boxing voice and said he would do a rematch. So...

i hope this answers the questions asked by those who say "Why doesn't khan rematch Garcia?" "Why doesn't Khan avenge his KO losses" "Khan's got Garcia problems".

I believe I heard Danny being open to it in another video recently. As much as Angel barks, the final say is up to Haymon. And Danny seems like a yes man to me so the rematch is indeed possible. Not to mention, it is extremely appealing due to what happened in the first fight. The buildup hype would be pretty awesome, they have a LOT to work with (history, personalities, etc).
If Khan snatches a title, perfect PPV for Danny to challenge him for his first title attempt at WW.
