every time i see or hear someone say 'hard work and dedication', boxing is the ONLY thing that comes to mind.
i mean, we all know there's no such thing as hard work and dedication as a requirement for success in all other aspects of life.
lol, even his american idol reasoning was sh1t. in the american idols finals , it so happened that it was an amercain vs a filipino/mexican american that competed and the american won that many thought was sh1t too.
he is definitely bitter about something.
so basically he's seeing it one way but scoring it another.
his 'american idol' and 'bradley taught pac a boxing lesson' quotes lead me to believe that he wasn't happy pac made his old ass wait so he let his scorecard show his displeasure.
This
It's obvious what he meant. At least to me.
what's pretty obvious to me is he seems to have issues with a fighter's overwhelming popularity and would like to be considered as some sort of maverick who goes against the grain.
Because thats not what he said but I'll assume you're in the first grade
Incorrect and misleading. He said he won the first half of the fight.
And Ford's card had it 4-2 Pacquiao which is consistent with his statement.
watch the interview again and come back to me.
and iron boat, you're a confirmed troll alt so don't troll this thread or i'll have ban stick up your ass.
c'mon let's be fair here.
you believe jmm won the 3rd fight so you rank him above pac?
fine, that's completely understandable.
but you have to afford pac the same courtesy by ranking him above bradley.
having both jmm and bradley above pac is not being objective, imo.
Who started this slow motion crap...I watched the fight in regular motion and saw what I needed to see...U dont have to slow it down, make the fight TWICE as longer to see something...the only reason they have slowmo replays in sport, is the place emphysis and highlight certain sequences of the event....no idiot is going to watch the entire fight in slowmo just to see something u already saw...dumb thread
ding ding!
we have a winner!
:lol1:
i started watching the super slo-mo version during fighters' introduction but bradley's head is so big it's takes 3 days to move out of closeup.
hopefully by nov. 15 i'm done watching so i'll know who's defending the belt.
116-112.
not that much of a blowout but it's clear as day that even an over the hill pac is still leaps and bounds better than a supposedly in his prime undeafeted challenger.
I'd rather not because A) I'm too lazy to and B) That's really not the point of my post. I'm not here to argue the anatomy of a broken jaw in boxing, so I'll just take your word for it.
I opened myself up to that, due to wording that poorly, but whatever.
The point I'm making and it's not even a point rather a question; why are people knocking fighters for quitting when breaking a jaw?
Yes a fighter earns "cool points" for fighter on but I think a pass should be giving if they want to call it a night. I'm not an Ortiz fan fwiw, and I've always felt this way about broken jaws in boxing.
it all boils to down to comparison.
it's akin to lebron being sh1tted on because he doesn't perform as well in the clutch as mj.
it doesn't matter whether the circumstances are different or not.
there was a precedent of excellence in that regard and ppl come to expect that.
in victor's case, the precedence was other fighters fought on with a broken jaw.
you say the circumstances may be different.
that may very well be the case but it really doesn't matter as far as critics are concerned.
just like athletes are celebrated when they break records or reach milestones, the same athletes are criticized for failure to meet expectations.
in this case, ortiz was expected to fight on because fighters have done so before him.
is it unfair? maybe but precedence is both a gift and a curse.
According to Gamespot it's highly exciting working your way up through the ranks to earn your shot at Victor, but he's very difficult to fight because all he does is attempt to rabbit punch and flying headbutt you, and if that doesn't work he just quits.
i want to take advantage of his penchant for apologizing during a fight.
one reviewer suggested that there's a 5 second window while he's apologizing and the ref talking to the timekeeper where you can legally sucker punch him and he couldn't get up for the count.
i'm really diggin this.
