threads like this are proof that manny's fans are mostly kids, and they have not watched boxing for more than one generation of fighters.
either that or they're just really, really stupid grown men.

I mean
still be effective and pound for pound fighter at age 40?
I think he must modify his fighting style if he wants to.
wishful thinking
no way in hell
manny has been taking punches in victory and defeat for almost two decades now. he turned pro in '95 and has been basically a pure aggressor throughout.
i'm guessing he fights 2-3 more times.
Don't think he has the boxing IQ to change up his style. It's just not in his nature.
He would have to change his style totally and I don't think he can and to be honest, I don't think he wants to.
He doesn't have that hunger to continue in the sport, to prove himself over and over again like B-Hop does. They both have very different mentalities.
Here's to hoping. But has Manny lived a lifestyle as clean as B-Hop's where his body hasn't taken the abuse necessary to do that??
this is a good call, Pac is having that rockstar lifestyle will pacquiao'd him at the end...
Guys who last as great fighters into an advanced age are guys who have something that continues to push them, an edge, a feeling of disrespect driving them to constantly prove people wrong. Pac hasn't had that edge for a while, and he isn't going to suddenly rediscover it.
Pac may still be fast, he may still be great, but he is losing it obviously now. He has a year left IMO before he won't want to fight anymore. I think he only barely wants to fight now.
i see your point that Pac has been missing that drive and I have doubts of him rediscovering it, last time he lost to morales he cried, now he just smiled it off...
I am only banking that in each pacquiao loss he came back better and enjoyed a streak and achieved a higher plateu .... after torreocampo he bacame world champion, after singsurat he bacame p4p by beating marco, after morales we all know the story....
Bernard Hopkins was once an offensive Juggernaut. He just adapted in his late 30's.
its a long shot but the chance is not zero imo.
lolz I think I am the only one who voted yes and have to agree that the chance is not zero hehe ...

I don't see that bro? Pac @147 is still as fast, as strong and as durable as anybody, I dont see him loosing just to anybody....

Wait, we're comparing a no defense Manny to 1 of the greatest defensive techs of all time?? No way. Absolutely not. Pacman will never be the complete fighter that it takes to do what B-Hop has done.

Not a chance. He's a fight or two from being far enough gone to lose to very good fighters, rather than just elite fighters.

No. Different styles. BHop is a freak.
i voted yes its possible but not really going to happen as Pac has a lot going for him after boxing, he could extend it for a bit as it is his main bread and butter, could see him beating lot of upcoming guys...
IMHO Pac retires in 3 more fights
Bro
I think Pac might retire but he'll make a comeback and fight until he is 40 or until someone knocks him out or dominates him.

nothing is impossible as long as you accept jesus christ as your saviour.
One day Moses...Jesus and Mohammad were in a bar and they see a beatiful woman. They decide to roll a die so that who gets the highest number will go and ask woman to date. Moses rolls 4...Jesus rolls 5 and Mohammad rolls 6. Suddenly a die falls from sky and it is 7.
fact: pacman's head is bigger than bradley's
fact: there was only one significant butt, and it was caused by Pac
Bro
Bradley's head is bigger. Pac's hair is so thick it creates an illusion.

I told people before the fight, you don't see butts from Bradley when the opposing fighter isn't running or solely looks to clinch to neutralize pressure. This is why it's no coincidence that butts didn't occur in the Peterson fight as well.
100% of the respondents doesnt think Pa can do it. :D
I think so too but i am hoping that he can do it , because i think Pac will continue to fight until he has completely lost it :(
He is gifted with freakish stamina so i think. he needs the discipline and perseverance to stay longer and be more effective like BHop.
