Doug Fischer just made another article critisizing him regarding this whole Mosley fiasco.
So in the last 2 weeks they've critisized him for fighting Marquez; they made rumours that the fights at 147; they've put him 2nd to Pacquiao in the top fighter of the decade list (when the years not even over yet), and now have made this article.
The thing is, they not one mentioned when Floyd called out Mosley after the Brusseles fight. It must have slipped their mind!
You know, its one thing being biased but they actually seem as if they hate the guy.
These guys should be more subjective.
their owned by Oscar
so did you get to beat charlie zzzzzzzzzzzz ass all ready verse?
lol.. exactly what i was thinking
but no matter who your a fan of as long as you keep a level head you'll be good
too bad its not gunna work....If only you understood how the shoulder roll works....
the shoulder roll is an excellent defensive technique... maybe even one of the greatest, but when fighting a southpaw its a bit different. You have to tweak a few things.
Mayweather stands orthodox, so usually when he's fighting another orthodox fighter when they throw a right hand (usually their strongest punch) he's able to easily have the shoulder against his chin and roll it off. Simple. Then he'll counter or do whatever.
Against a southpaw its different because now their strongest punch is coming straight from the other side, theres a clear lane now instead of a shoulder being there. May keeps the shoulder against the left side of his chin... with a southpaw their strongest punch is coming toward the right side, it'd be a bit much for him to roll even more to the right to compensate so more than likely he'd bend down at the waist to avoid the straight left..... or bring his right elbow up to parry an incoming punch.
For evidence check the Zab Judah fight (a southpaw) Floyd rarely used the shoulder roll technique until later in the rounds when he was comfortable and Judah was tiring.... at the beginning he was keeping BOTH hands high and tight until he got a feel of Judah.
theres a few that they havent "officially" released the names of yet
heres the roster so far: http://fightnight.easports.com/boxers.action?version=fightnightround4
There both good fighters and to be honest it would be good to see but i can't see it happening, to be honest i think that Floyd will just walk out the game after this fight so don't be getting you hopes up for Mayweather Paquiao!
LOL... you crazy, you think he's gonna leave on a Marquez matchup? :lol1:
Mike Tyson: no explanation needed
Floyd: not a volume puncher in the least bit... but i love the way he picks his shots.... one of the most accurate fighters ever also a brilliant counter puncher
Roy: insane quickness.... the combinations roy put together 95% of fighters would dare try.. let alone land them
Pac-Man: explosive and fast, just know whoevers across the ring is in for some serious hurt
depends what you classify as a mega-event.. IMO Floyd/Oscar, Tyson/Holyfield, Tyson/Lewis were mega events
Pac-Cotto would be a big fight but not a mega event
A few nights ago I had this really vivid dream.
I dreamt that Juan Manuel Marquez got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather Jr.
JMM was connecting on Mayweather at will in the 1st round and managed to knock him down.
Money May recuperated and landed a monster left hook in round 2 or 3 that knocked Marquez out.
I can clearly remember the left hook right now.
Pretty Boy Floyd coiled and launched a beautiful Joe Frazier-esque bomb that landed flush on Marquez's chin.
I don't really see the fight playing out this way, but my dream could be a sign...LOL.
Then again, I once had a dream that Paulie Malignaggi stopped Ricky Hatton in the 10th or 11th round of their fight.
thats a great 1st post
Why do some many people gave haye only a punchers chance . haye is very fast powerful and can slip wlads jab . wlad is a shit boxer by any standards . He has looked good beating up on slow fat immobile heavyweights. His jab grab stlyle is killing the interest in the heavyweight divsion . Who wants to see that shit. I sincerely hope that haye gives wlad such a beating that he never boxes again . wlad is a cancer to the heavyweight divsion. the sooner somebody and hopefully haye knocks him out the better off the heavyweight divsion will be.
haye may beat wlad....... but can he beat a gorilla?
If anyone has noticed, since the death of Exodus Tyson yesterday, there has been very little media attention associated with this tragedy. While I'm sure Mike prefers it that way, I can't help but notice a stark contrast in the media's coverage of the events. It is as if Mike Tyson's actions as a human being have trickled down and consequently lessened the tragedy that is his daughter's death.
Jett Travolta died of a seizure. He had a history of seizures and though his death was unexpected, it was certainly not "lightning striking", by any means. In comparison, the death of Exodus Tyson was very random and by all means a shock to everyone. Not only was she younger, but she died in a much more astonishing fashion.
However, with that said, Mike Tyson is known as a "bad guy" and Travolta is known as a "good guy". Because of this distinction the public and the media view the deaths differently. Jett Travolta gets All Access Hollywood specials and Exodus gets the back page. It really gives some perpective on how we are viewed based on who we are associated with.
If the situations were reversed and Jett Travolta had been the one wrapped in an electrical chord, the media would be in mourning and we wouldn't stop hearing about it for a month. But because Exodus is the son of a convicted rapist and all around "bad guy", her death is minimalized and pushed into the last line of the news as a "nice to know".
How is one child's death more relevant than the others? They're not, it's just the media and public perception. Exodus Tyson was just as innocent as Jett Travolta and deserves the same respect he was given.
Rest in Peace, both of you. Equally.
very enlightening post.... great point
didnt even think of it but this is all very true
...What...you guys haven't gotten your monthly Floyd Mayweather FanClub Support Checks? How do you think I get by. Man oh man, I'm glad this retirement crap is over. I was worried the club would stop paying me.
Oh yeah, Floyd Mayweather is the greatest human being alive.
-I have to slurp on him or I stop getting mah paper.-

Its because haters cant find a flaw in Floyd, he is undefeated and keeps winning when they wont him to lose, so any thought of a negative will be blown up. I bet the sickness on this board would laugh at a death in Floyd's family.
hate to say it but thats probably not far from the truth
Interesting article on Floyd's $ problem. :?!:

that shit sounds like something Google_it would write... complete trash tbh... look at this about the author, guy sounds like a joke:
"Michael is a former sports columnist at the New York Post. He was a criminal defense attorney and worked for sports legends Howard Cosell and Don King. Marley also operates ******************.com. Email him your thoughts. He makes it a practice to always recommend Pacland and Philboxing"
dude is CLEARLY bias :lol1:
If you never gave the thread a chance by reading the opening post how can you laugh at the thread?
right :lol1: simple minded ass posters..... this single post is really making it hard for haters
this isnt directed at people who just dont like floyd, thats fine.. but to haters who have no validity behind the dislike
