LOL. And here I thought I was getting robbed paying over 30% on a 1099. Hell my bonus checks are taxed at 35% and it's a lot less than Mayweather gets (ha ha ha) 7%, shit most people in the U.S. on a 1099 pay easily more than 30% In fact most people working for employees get way more than 7% taken out. so if you made 150 million you could easily owe over 40 million in taxes if not careful. Yea, it could be an outrageous number he owes if he did not pay taxes in 2007 especailly with fines and interest. You do not mess with Uncle Sams money, he will do much worse then break your legs~. On the plus side if this is the case we should be seeing him around for a minute, also it would make sence why he would not take the King supposed $100 million offer, he would ahve to pay mad taxes on that lump sum, then pay off what he owes he would have almost nothing left, and then to get that money upfront you have to figure King would be shiesting him on back end of the deal (back end meaning everything after the big lump sum payment).

The more I think about this, the more I'm convinced he is not broke at all. I think he may be going through a personal recession, in that he is having cash flow problems, but the guy is not broke. By fighting and selling off some excess stuff, he will be fine. If that 7 million is land taxes as Horus says, it means he has a ton of money invested in property. He is not broke, but just having cash flow issues.

Eh..... I doubt Mayweather is broke at this point. It seems to be more speculation than honest proof that anything is wrong with him financially. Its the same way I didn't jump to conclusions when Bob Arum said he is concerned about the way Pac's money is being handled.

Thats how it works over here in the UK but if you're a boxer arent you suppose to be self-employed??? And if you're self-employed then you're responsible for filling your own tax. Thats what I was trying to tell them... I used the 7% as a minimum standard. Federal Taxes (7%) come out automatically.. People get caught up in tax evasion all the time...Just ask President Obama Nominees ..So I am not Saying floyd is not capable of tax evasion. But if Floyd was cheating the government it wouldnt be from his fight night money or his endorsements ... it would be from his property taxes and from not reporting money he makes from his mayweather promotions..
