some quotes from an interview
"people forget erik morales boxed the shit out of pacquiao"
"people called oscar over the hill after i beat him but gave pacquiao a lot of credit and he fought him at 147 with 8 oz gloves"
"people said i was too big for ricky hatton and they said ricky hatton was too big for manny pacquiao but they want to see me against pacquiao?"
"marquez fought pacquiao twice and its ok for me to fight pacquiao but not marquez?"
"when i beat this guy they are going to say I was too big for him but you got to realise i came from 125 lbs"
Floyd can also be found quoted saying shit before the Hatton and Marquez fight saying stuff like I'm a great big man, and they are great small men. So, what the hell is that quote suppose to mean if I'm taking it out of context?
If floyd posts here, can he tell me if I just mis-quoted him or took anything out of context? LOL, of course he doesn't post here because his fan-base is small on here compared to the likes of other fighters. He gets shitted on here alot, I doubt it would help his self-esteem to come to a website seeing that majority of the people do not like him. My friend likes him though in real life but he is more a ufc fan and he likes to be a poser and stuff.
no one gives pac credit for beating delahoya. what are you talking about, only his fans does.
floyd and pac fought oscar under different circumstances, floyd caved into de la hoyas circumstances because he wouldnt get the fight any other way, whereas for pac, it was the other way around, de la hoyas desperation to get a fight with pac cost him his already fading career.
He has a good point, 148 Pacquiao can fight JMM but not Mayweather, who weighed 148 at Jr MW? Pacquiao and Mayweather weigh the same FIGHT NIGHT. Seriously, be happy that we're gonna get to see Mayweather vs JMM and possibly Pacquiao.
I think it does....If Floyd was white or hispanic it'd be a different story....
if he gave us entertaining fights and fights the best then i think it would be a different story.
"people called oscar over the hill after i beat him but gave pacquiao a lot of credit and he fought him at 147 with 8 oz gloves"
this is actually accurate.
You can't please everybody. Floyd won his first belt at junior light weight and steadily moved up in weight. Now when other fighters is moving up in weight and Floyd agrees to fight them they say he's to big. Plus it's Marquez who called Floyd out. The pundits always hating on Floyd because he's undefeated, black fighter with an attitude.
Being black has nothing to do with anything. I keep seeing this:
"People hate Floyd because he's young, black and successful." :bottle:

Mayweather is very technical, he fights defensively. He sets traps and counters, Marquez needs to watch out for Mayweathers clinching and counters. Marquez needs to keep pressure on him, but at the same time never let mayweather grab him. Marquez needs to use his footwork, and he must keep busy. I can see Marquez winning this fight. Mayweather is gonna get the rust knocked off him.:boxing:
Truthfully, you'd be surprised how many celebrities, athletes, etc look in these type of forums to see what people are saying about them.
I have no doubt a good amount of Boxers visit this site periodically. Whether or not they actually post on here is a diff story.
