The problem isn't with Khan.
The problem is with other 'fighters'. They keep on ducking him, even though Khan brings them the most money.
Fighters who have avoided Khan:
Mayweather
Pacquiao
Bradley
Marquez
Broner
Garcia (rematch)
I'd go with the first four, considering JMM and Bradley went on record to say they didnt want to fight Khan and both May/Pac didn't want any of that hard work.
Broner though, hasn't looked like he ducked Khan, he isn't even in the same division.
Garcia v Khan 2 is very likely considering both are at 147lbs but the team just have to put aside egos now.
Mayweather:

Garcia:

Bradley:
Both obvious outcomes, so it comes down to who you like better regardless of who they fight
Many boxing experts are actually picking Khan to beat Canelo.
But even if you think that both fights are equal in odds, what would you rather want to see?
A 12 round, same old Mayweather running around potshotting his opponent.
Or
An action packed, exciting fight, with a potential KO, or the biggest shock of the decade.
Canelo-Khan winning by a mile.
Mayweather can shut his mouth up, now. Nobody wants to see him run around for 12 rounds, pot shot an opponent that is levels below him.

Thoughts.?
THE FIREMAN VS PACMAN.
POINTLESS. Very pointless. We have seen it twice already.
A Khan fight brings in more money. Why not fight Khan?
So is Floyd. Oh and its a whole lot better than Berto.
Doing a poll between Khan and Maidana and then choosing to fight Maidana (twice) after Khan winning the poll, is an act of cowardice.
Before Khan haters come in with "oh he's chinny" "oh Pac will KO Khan", let's not forget that Khan has never been KO'd cold before. Khan has always been stopped by the referee (TKO).
Pacquiao was KNOCKED OUT COLD.
To be fair khan would have died if he received that monster shot marquez unleashed against pac
Oh you're talking about the Marquez that didn't want to fight Khan in 2009-2010?
I don't think he means that first sentence literally.
If you look at the full context while keeping the second sentence in mind, you will see that he's expressing his inability to admit his loss. i.e; he knows that he lost but he hasn't been able to process it.
He seems mentally destroyed...
Boxing isn't easy. To be a good fighter, a champ, you have to put your ego in the sport. And when you lose, when you lose your titles (what defines you), it can be devastating.
Wlad needs a good support system around him, otherwise he will go deep in depression (Kelly Pavlik...)
Why are all these clowns avoiding the true champion?? Martinez ducked GGG, Cotto ducked him and now Canelo is ducking him. The Ring title and the WBC at 160 has become a down right joke and all these clowns are just putting on a circus act. It is a disgrace and if Khan happens to beat Canelo his bum ass won't go anywhere never the monster that is GGG
Khan has the biggest balls in this sport, period.
I'm sure he will fight GGG once he beats Canelo.
Amir Khan is going to be a legend. An ATG.
He wants to be an ATG. He has taken a very tough fight, which no fighter in our generation has done so far.
Did Mayweather move up and fight someone in his prime (with no catch weights)?
Did Pacquiao move up and fight someone in his prime (with no catch weights)?
Amir has shown huge courage by taking this Canelo fight. Courage that hasn't been seen in recent times.
Amir is going for greatness. Applaud that. It's a breath of fresh air in Boxing. This is how the old time great fighters would fight: for greatness and legacy, not for personal bank accounts.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are a neanderthal from either Karachi or Bolton hence your blind and obtuse love for a glass-jawed and flawed boxer like Khan.
But to answer your question about Floyd, Floyd has indeed moved up in weight several times to fight guys that were bigger than him and certainly in their prime.
In 2005 Floyd moved up to 140Ibs from 135Ibs and easily destroyed Arturo Gatti who was in his prime and a sanctioned belt holder.
The two other fighters in that division that were belt holders both refused to fight Floyd because they said they weren't ready: Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto - this is a fact that you can google yourself.
When there was no else to fight, he moved up in weight within a year and fought two belt holders in their prime at 147Ibs, Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir. You can criticize them all you want but they were champions at that time.
He then moved up to 154Ibs in less than a year and fought a bigger fighter in Oscar De La Hoya.
If you look at Floyd's career from 2004 all the way to 2015 every single fighter that Floyd fought was a current belt holder and a recognized top ten fighter in that specific division. Can you say the same for A Mere Con? Khan is an idiot and will get destroyed by Canelo and you will have to wait another 20 years for another hero to come out of Pakistan which I must say is pretty embarrassing that only one person has come out to be a world champion from a country of more than 100 million people.
You sound like a racist hater.
Gatti, Cotto, ODLH, Judah - all guys that were out of their primes when Floyd fought them.
Baldomir? The guy only fights in one direction: straight ahead. He's a one trick pony.
Should Khan have asked for a catchweight?? 155 is a catchweight and Khan did ask for 152
What's wrong with asking? It's a negotiation tactic.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. asked Canelo for a rehydration clause and a second weigh in day. Canelo rejected those but had to accept the 152 catch weight.
Either way, at the end of the day, Khan is fighting Canelo at Canelo's weight of 155 lbs.
He's trying to hype Brook up for when he fights him.
And, he's trying to downplay Khan's ballsy move.
Thurman doesn't have the balls to fight Canelo. He's hatin' on Khan.
Floyds always a *****, he fought everyone from baldomir to Ortiz to avoid legit threats in Margy, Cotto, Williams and Pacquiao for less money...yet he calls himself Money lol
Anyway, like I always say, love him or hate him, khan comes to fight. Floyd comes to pick up left overs.
Yup. He's more money hungry than any of us, yet he picks the lesser money options. Why? Because they are 'safer' options. What a disgrace to Boxing.
Brook just turned down a highest pay day of 2.5m sterling to fight him
Floyd retired and before that ducked him to fight maidana someone Khan easily defeated despite him winning the poll floyd made too
Pac has made a couple of excuses as well to not fight him
Garcia's dad who does everything for his son including shagging his girlfriend for him wants to part of him due to his change of style
Why is everyone so afraid of Khan? Genuine question, it is clear he is being avoided
Add Bradley (shamefully ducked Khan after Khan publicly said to his face 'grow a pair of balls')
Add JMM. Yup. Look up the archives. JMM didn't want a piece of Khan back then....
Then why did they not fight him then, derp :dance:
Buh its a principle thing
Buh dey don't need him
Better to fight this flat footed plodder
Better to fight this guy he's faced 50 times before
I love Pacquiao but I will call out B.S. when I see it.
yup. Khan brings way more money that Maidana, Berto, and Bradley combined. Yet, 2 money hungry fighters (pac and may) pick lower money options to fight.
