Froch makes more money fighting DeGale in the UK at a sold out Wembley, and gets a possible beating against GGG for less cash, so I have no idea why he'd fight GGG, even in the UK where they wouldn't sell out Wembley.
But it would be a great fight since neither guy backs down or is inclined to dance around for 12 rounds.
The GGG fight is bigger anywhere. More money.
I got froch by Decision he will give GGG that Arthur Abraham treatment.
Arthur was never that good. Wide punches, always fights in bursts. Gives rounds away by playing possum. They're basically nothing a like. GGG even hits harder.
Golovkin's defence is sh1t. He'd be in for a hell of a surprise when a bigger more powerful man starts landing on him and backing him up.
GGG can turn on the D when he wants to. Like vs Adama,
Glad to see that Tom Loeffler can pick up the phone and call someone's representation when he's looking to make a fight for his client; shame that he apparently can't do that for most other fight, lol.
He called Eddie Hearn for the Froch fight.
Golovkin is a little overhyped, if he wants to prove hes legit. Why not fight Lara?.
Lara also has over 300 amatuer fights and would be the best guy GGG has faced. Only problem is GGG doesnt seem to want the fight.
GGG seriously needs to step it up and prove himself, fighting lara would do that. Lara has said multiple times he wants the fight.
Yeah. It's not like he wants Carl Froch or anything.
Froch is the first option.
The N'Dam-Lemuiex winner should be the second option. Unification
Andy Lee third. Unification
Lara fourth.
This makes sense.
If GGG was going to go out of his way to fight someone that was Haymon he'd probably fight Quillin.
But even the N'Dam-Lemuiex winner should hold priority over Lara. But I know Lara is fighting the always awesome Delvin. lol
Calling bull. No sources or anything. Tom already said it's going to take place at 168 if it happens.
OK, Mr Tom Loeffler says( via text) that in regards to a Froch fight, GGG(they) are willing to go to 168 and the UK #boxing— Steve Kim (@steveucnlive) May 21, 2015
I told Eddie clearly it would be 168 because of the respect to Carl and the marketability he brings with him https://t.co/OnMCrstwNJ— Tom Loeffler (@TomLoeffler1) June 3, 2015
Tom responding to this rumor
You and I saw different fights, every time Golovkin got cliched he stood there and looked at the ref. When he was in close he was just standing there a lot.
Didn't make it look difficult at all against a guy that is not known for using that tactic.
There's difference between clinching to spoil and to guys close to each other who would prefer to be broken up in the ebb and flow of the fight. When Monroe was trying to survive he wasn't allowed to clinch without paying for it. Same happened with Murray.
Clinching GGG is a chore. Monroe tried and took shots for his trouble. He stopped trying and so did Murray.
GGG is very physical when people try to clinch him.
