Ok yea he has a great win over porter that i thought was close....but before that what has he done? Even after he beat brook what has he done? Anybody else notice that brook biggest fight where mandotry fight with porter and chavez?
Porter done more before and after the brook fight
Brook has one of the worst resumes at 147 period
And he seems he doesnt wanna closed anyfight that he isnt forced to have
He offered but then goes out & makes more demands. Listen to Rios interview. He agreed to initially, then gloves came up, then rematch came up which is normal but when they are demanding such a split, it should be a one off.
He DIDN'T want Bradley or it would've been made
The glove issue came up? So Gradovic from Rios' camp didn't receive a letter 4 weeks out saying he couldn't wear MX gloves? Oh wait. Yes he did and Garcia complained about it. Which means Rios is completely full of shyt when he tries to say Brook is making demands.
They even offered a rematch in America should Rios win.
So conclusion: you don't know shyt about boxing.
You know this reminds me of the pac/floyd 6 year waltz around each other. Maybe Khan & Brook will try to attempt THE same thing. Only thing is that Pac n Floyd fought the majority of the top@ 147 and win convincingly.
These two just need to stay active and fight a big name.at.147. Money can't be an issue
Considering he offered both a fight. No he couldn't.
However, the Bradley fight is natural to make and should happen next year if he wins against rios.

Don't know why Brook is *****footing around for. There are some nice ass matchups to.be made. He could've gotten Bradley in a big fight that would sell tickets there or over here.
He could've gotten Rios, over there but complained about gloves.
I just sense a lot of smoke behind this guy, maybe he just ain't there mentally after his fight vs Machete. But I'm actually thinking of putting$$$ on Chavez for this fight.

This is so true. Well, said.
Especially Laced Up.
And to think someone like Ricky Hatton is considered a legend.
I'm not a fan of Khan any longer because he's turned into a delusional twat.
If any other fighter was displaying that level of queerness you can rest assured I'd feel the same way.
Waiting for some comment about its because he's Muslim.....
I wasn't talking UK.
If you read my post it states globally in quotes putting special emphasis. Next time spend more effort on comprehending than coming up with insults.
Remember, Brook has to be added on stacked cards and split site with Fury-Wlad. Brook can't even do a ppv in his own country without the aforemetioned conditions. I mean he is UK's #1 fighter according to you Kell-end lot, no?
How much is he making though? He ain't making that Amir Khan money. "on BBC at age 15 doe". His whole career has been built around cashing out on a Khan fight.
Khan can't even do PPV period. So what are you talking about? Khan never did good numbers in the UK and was forced to fight on prime time because his numbers were so shyt.
"That Amir khan money" wtf are you talking about? Listen to yourself. Talking like it's your money. Who gives a flying funk how much they make. You're excusing a great fight because Brook isn't making what khan is? Was Algieri? Diaz? Collazo? Alexander?
You honestly sound like you're gay for khan.
Having said that, I don't see that much hype around Brook. The fact is, he is the only other titlist in the division outside of Mayweather, has beaten Porter who beat Alexander, who then got beat by Khan. This means that we need a round robin of Khan/Brook/Porter/Thurman/Alexander and possibly Maidana if he makes it back, although I've never rated him that highly at welterweight.
That's all there is to it.
Who has a better single win than Brook's over Porter at 147 aside from Mayweather and Pacquiao.
He has the best single and most dominant win over any other young fighter at 147.
If you're talking about "young" fighters then fair enough but the reality is, behind Pac/May, Bradley has the single best win at welterweight and it's not even close.

Irritatingly for the rest of the forum is the brook fans know he ain't ****. You can't really talk about brook without mentioning khan.
It took him 30 odd fights to get a title shot ...TBE Lol

You don't honestly believe that :lol1:
There was always hype around Brook. He was on BBC when he was 15 years old.
If you think it's all down to Khan's name, you're deluded.

uk representative (non muslim) at welter which is an overrated division in general
****ty competition hasnt done much isnt notable for much of anything, hes just fitting the niche
all of his hardcore fanboys on here are guys who pretended to love khan until they had an option B
all of em

Jan Zavcek held that belt, so did the guy he beat to get the belt Isaac something something. Point being if it isn't for Kell using Khan's name to stay relevant, he would be just another "belt holder" and not known "globally".
In this article they talk about getting Brook proper training on it:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/boxing/9624056/Kell-Brook-to-face-Amir-Khan-or-Ricky-Hatton-but-must-do-talking-outside-the-ring.html
Hearn told Telegraph Sport: "We are putting Kell on a media training course and we are getting expert advice on doing interviews with television and journalists for print and websites."

No, it's through Brook practically using Khan's name to stay in the spot light.
Fight a bum, use Mayweathers name to hype it, rinse and repeat, the Amir Khan story.
Fixed for you
This is true!!!
I can't even think of too many guys who want to get in the ring with Porter, let alone fight and beat him like Brook did. Most, if not all of the bad rap on Brook comes from the Pakis while defending that fraud Khan.
Ease up on the racial slur and even then you're just generalizing.
Brook was in a competitive bout and hats off to him for pulling it off with the odds of gaining a favourable decision arguably against him.
Instead of looking at Brook's resume and saying he hasn't beaten anybody any good except Porter, look at the way he beat Porter, in Porter's own back yard, and think how many other WW's could have done that.
If he hadn't been stabbed and had to take time out to recover, he would already have built on the Porter win by now. Look at his resume in 2 years time and judge him then.
Brook is a world champion who has never lost a fight and never been knocked down. Porter may be his only real big win but it's the win that made him a champion and nobody else has been able to beat Porter. I've seen him fight recently. He scored two impressive knock outs defending his title. They weren't top challengers but Khan refused to fight him. He is fighting a good fighter in Chavez who held Bradley to a disputed draw. I think Brook is one of the best welterweights in the world.
Has nothing to do with him being world champion :lol1:
