nice work mate.
I think he'll come good. A defeat isn't the end of the world.
A prospect should use a defeat as a learning curve to improve and get better. The same thing happened to Khan. Unfortunately for world class prospects like those guys, there defeats get magnified because of the 'Overhyped' tag they get labeled with.
People need to remember that guys like Ortiz and Khan are still learning their trade.
As a Khan fan however, i do find this whole thing ironic. A little humble pie is needed for the guys who slagged off Khan rotten for his defeat, while at the same time those guys where saying Ortiz was a future P4P#1 who would KO Pacquiao.
co-sign homey.

VINNIE PAZ.HE NOW HAS A GREAT CAREER IN HIP HOP WITH HIS PRODUCER STOUPE
word. Im listening to JMT as i type.
No way...he'll be another sitting duck. Areolla seems like he's a cool dude and real down to earth guy, but he gets man handled by Wlad.
It's sad when he's one of the top Heavyweights in Boxing. SMH...
co-sign. I like arreola, but Wlad rapes him with his jab and straight right.
i think next years inductees will have julio cesar chavez and kostya tszyu. im basing this on the 5 year retirement rule, but could be wrong.either way, going to see the gran campeon mexicano is be inducted is a must for any boxing fan.
you know im not so sure, i know Tszyu is a shoe in, and Chavez is a nobrainer. that be awesome to have the two top best 140 lb fighters of al time inducted in the same year. But if Chavez does get inducted next year, it is certainty that i will be there.
i know, i actually fooled one guy into believing that tyson was gonna fight jorge arce. and he said, "oh man that fight is gonna be awesome!!!"...i just laughed.
the more i read all these analysis of possible outcomes...the more exited i get. everyone has good point, on both sides of the spectrum, and they all will converge on may 2nd into a fight for the ages.
honestly, i became a fan when he defeated rocky juarez. soto is such a world class fighter. he is one of these new mexican technical fighter emerging replacing the mexican brawleing style of yester year.
Oscar wasnt throwing, wasnt moving on his feet, wasnt fighting tall, he was just a punching bag...he wasnt the guy that couldnt pull the trigger, he just left the gun at home...i really cant believe a guy that not far ago gave Mayweather a close competitive fight can be that shot now. I mean...you re the bigger guy, just go there and swing something damn!!
Props to Manny, he fought a great great fight, he seemed to hypnotize Oscar. I just cant understand how a big experienced guy lik DeLa Hoya wasnt able to throw against a small guy like this. I could understand a point loss, but not this beating at all.
After all Manny was quite open to right hands and left hooks all night...why Oscar wasnt throwing anything? Why he stood there and took all those punches? Someone can explain that without being a nut hugger and giving unbias thought?
you cant hit what you cant see. there is still the aftershock of both Manny Pacquiao's EPIC Performance and De la Hoya's disgraceful "performance". many people still scrambling to make sense of it all. i think De la Hoya was too overconfident going in to the fight, and slowly his confidence just deteriorated and began to show physically. first post.
