As far as the evaluation went thru, Manny will come victoriously on May 2.
Hatton can withstand Pac's power but will give up with the speed Pac has.
Obviously Hatton relies on his victory against his win over Paulie "one -armed fighter". But nonetheless, he will have a brutal beating when pac emerges his punching combinations on 3rd round.
By the end of the 5th round, hell, blood will ooze on Hitman's nose.
That will bring hatton's fans in dissapointment.
Pac will then continue battering hitman to submission.
Hitman will have no tactics left for pacman as soon as pac will continue with his gameplan and fire combinations to the head and body.
Hatton is not gonna come in dehydrated like other fighters.....and manny doesn't have alot of power...he couldn't even ko a dehydrated old shot dlh...
manny is very technical and has good speed...his power is obsolete against a bigger hatton...
If all these people think Manny doesn't have the power to knock out Hatton, they at least gotta believe Manny will keep pounding on Hatton's face and turn it into one bloody mess !!!! Which will happen with a TKO victory for Manny.
i think it's going to more of whether hatton can deal with pacqiuao's speed? the power of pacs punch is going to play an important part in this fight. with speed comes power but it's not the same power as if manny was a natural ko artist, which he is not.
so, as it was said before, if pacquiao can't keep hatton off of him and can't get hatton to respect his power, it's going to be a long night for manny.....
speed and slickenss is more of the issue than power.........
Manny doesn't hit that hard above 130. That's pretty much proven by his last two fights were it took an age of beating David Diaz to death to finally put him down, and then hitting ODLH at will but at no point did Oscar look like being KO'd.
His speed will be a problem and he will catch Hatton alot no doubt, but the real question is can Manny withstand Hattons power, strength and relentless aggressiveness? I think the answer is definitely not.
Ricky is gonna be the bigger guy and punch power has a reduced effect against bigger opponents. Just look at Ricky when he moved up to 147, his punches had no where near the impact it has at 140. The same will be evident for Manny on May 2nd, if its not already clear at 135.
agree 100%.

Agreed, it took Manny 9 rounds of constant bombardment to put Diaz down, an average fighter.
i have a feeling hatton can withstand MP's power...
but if his defense hasnt improved, the accumulation of punches from MP even against a legit super lightweight will eventually get him...
the speed will give him trouble,if u watch the dlh fight u will realize manny hit oscar with every shot in the book over and over again so his power isnt great.but hes so fast and pretty accurate i think hatton has got to be very careful
who the hell is pacman relieing on then? diaz and DLH...LOL
ok pal...take yer pills and go back to bed!
i love both fighters, but your biased opinion and nut-huggery is just annoying!
Yah right.. U go to sleep and just dream that Hatton will win..
IN YOUR DREAMS...hihooho

You know? I'm not really sure if he can or not.
Hatton has had some chin issues, witnessed in his fights against Collazo, Mayweather and Lazcano, but...
On the other hand, De La Hoya said that Pacquiao cannot punch for shit at the WW limit. He had a weight drained Oscar in front of him, and although Oscar does have a terrific chin, the draining of weight did hurt him a bit in that area I would think, unless it didn't affect him like it does every other boxer on the planet, Pacquiao never really hurt him too badly.
He hit him a lot, but Oscar was never really hurt hurt.
So idk, that's an interesting question that will be answered in the fight itself.

but I also think that he will be stung hard enough from the outside and coming in that he won't be able to just wade in and fight his fight.
i thinks hattons new footwork and head movement will offset that tho.
