I disagree with Max because he makes it sound like Floyd is and always was way bigger when I disagree. I always bring up how Floyd was fighting Zab at WW and coming into the ring at 146 pounds while Pac was at 130 but coming into the ring at 145 pounds. They were basically the same weight in the ring despite Floyd being in a much higher weight class. Therefore either Pac is close to the same size as Floyd or maybe Pac only won some of those fights because he was bigger and stronger than the guys in his class. I know physically he made Morales look like a lil boy in the 2nd and 3rd fights
You are flat out wrong. Infact everything is the exact opposite of what you say. No one from this past era has switched styles or has made as many in fight adjustments as Floyd. Adjusting is what he's known for. Even his harshest critics in the media give him that
So you are saying that Floyd only fought 4 times at 135 but was forced to move up because he was too big despite being only 138 on fight night? Then that same guy only fought 3 times at 140 but was again forced to move up because he was so gigantic despite being only 143 on fight night and weighing only 146 on fight night at WW against Zab? He was so huge even though at the exact same time Pac was fighting at 130 and coming into the ring at 145 but he was a lil man, correct?
 I Cant blame them lol! Cool peeps though, Ive always liked Roger and Sr. I was surprised to see them there though. They could both just retire and enjoy their money but you can tell boxing is definitely in their blood.
I knew you weren't Cajun. You should head down to Fremont street now to close the night off right
im curous does he sell tmt merchandise at hhis gym???
i want some TMT decales for to decorate my room and maybe put some on my chevy,
do u need special arragements to go there or can u just roll up as long as floyd aint there??i want t know in case i go to broner porter fight,
I'm sure they do. I followed Roger's partner and son to his truck one time to get a shirt for my girl but didn't buy it since it was for a specific fight
First he said he didnt. Now he did. Floyd complains about being against the whole world when hes the one who does that to himself. With all his talents i believe hed still be a megastar without all those BS. Unluckily he chose the wrong path and is being a crybaby for it.
well there was an award show in between then where she kinda blew him off so now I think he doesnt give an F about her feelings anymore but that also could mean he's lying because he's mad
Is it just me or are they saying the same **** at every presser? Like literally exact same things.
Mayweather: I was champion while his trainer was champion, and I'll be champion after I retire Maidana"
Garcia: "let's take a walk"
etc, etc..
So scripted. Mayweather and Garcia prob shake hands after each presser.
one thing you have to remember is that alot of people still arent on these sites like we are or are atleast a 100% in the know like us so its kinda like a music concert. You can do the same thing at every show because its still new to the next city. Meaning that weve heard it over and over but alot of people in those other cities still havent heard him say that about Garcia, etc....
For crying out loud these Floboners really do live vicariously through their father figure :lol1: like a bunch of Justin Bieber fans.
These guys actually take time to come out & scream "dedication" every time Floyd says "hard work" at his press conferences? SMH
well this is DC which they go to every tour now because its one of the few places where Floyd gets more love than his opponent. Chocolate City, baby......lol
lol...
His money, he can trick it if he wants to
I just give 50 props for putting his main guy in with crawford, it was a compelling matchup and boxing needs more of those and less danny-salka
how you gonna give him credit when Gamboa been starving. Thats the only fight 50 could get him. 50 is hurting his career and now is crawling back to TR begging
Mundine is nothing special and Clottey is 37 but this isnt the 80's anymore. Guys can fight at a high level for longer now and that goes for all of pro sports. He's also had a lot of time off and he's always had a bigger body so I think he could be solid. He might not win but I think he makes it tough for alot of guys. He still looks pretty fresh to me
this guy doesnt even look like he's trying hard to me, honestly. Looks like me fighting a girl who I dont want to hurt or who I want to let win. She's going all out while he's just there
When you beat a legend, you become a legend.
thats wtf Im tryin to say. To be the man, you have to beat the man and he just beat the man. What more do you want? Totally erases the Pac loss IMO
If Hopkins beats Kovalev- he truly is an Alien
What has Kovalev ever done to make this a win that puts him over top someone else? It's no different then someone having Hopkins ranked higher and then saying would u rank Floyd higher if he beats Thurman. Keith is even more accomplished at this point.
The bottom line is that if u wouldn't put Floyd over someone based off a win like that then don't try to do it in reverse?
U guys are complaining about Ron Salka now. If guys fought 9 times per year then Salka would probably be the 2nd best guy they fought. Fighters can easily do that now just like they do sparring. It's the same thing
Sad that the crowd in Barclays upper bowl is now being upgraded to the lower bowl before it comes on TV in 30 mins.— #FaceOfTheFranchise (@Pacman453323) August 10, 2014
i still give barclays credit for that. I wish I wouldve went to an event that did that
SMDH!!!you really think Floyd vs who ever will sale out Cotto vs Canelo on May 5?
Floyd is the All Time PPV leader. Canelo has had one PPV outside of Floyd and it did 350,000 buys. Cotto already admits he is the b side to Floyd and has never had a mega PPV outside of Floyd or Pac. Floyd meanwhile has 850,000 and everyone laughs at him. Cotto or Canelo would give there left nut to get 850,000. Cotto just made 7mil against Sergio. Floyd is guaranteed 32 mil every fight and was just #1 on Forbes for the highest grossing athlete by a mile. Hell yes Floyd vs whoever outsells them. He just had a tough fight vs Maidana. If you think the rematch doesnt do better then Cotto-Canelo then you are smoking
Nowhere in that video is Oscar seen refusing to acknowledge his son. Second off, who the **** cares? These kids are a pain in the ass because they start looking for dad when they realize they can leech off their fame and fortune... their moms put them up to this.
Again, I don't blame Oscar for staying discrete and choosing not to give this any public spotlight. If the kid wants to spend time with his father, do it privately and don't be such an attention seeking diva about it. This is done to get some fame and attention, nothing more, nothing less.
I would do the same thing as De La Hoya.
Dude without all this media bull**** he would have handled it differently. The media automatically puts pressure on him that's why he has to act a certain way and play their little game so he doesn't come off like a heartless person who is running away from a poor little boy that wants to get to know his mean dad. Sure...
And again, if Oscar had no money it would be the exact opposite. His son would be running from him, his son wouldn't want anything to do with him. So it's all bull****. Has nothing to do with me being heartless. The son doesn't give a **** about Oscar, he wants money and attention. He's not genuine. If Oscar didn't have any money and the son ran after him because he really wanted to get to know him and give him a chance and have a father and a healthy family then it'd be different. I have no sympathy for him so Oscar is right in basically telling him to piss off.
Thats not true at all. Ive been around a ton of kids like this. In kids there are still innocence. You can say what you want about the mother but the child doesnt see or care about money. They want to know there parents. How can you not see that? Look at that boy's face sitting there. He doesnt want Oscar's money. He wants his dad
