No disrespect, my avatar means despite what anyone says even if he was knocked out which is laughable - oscar is my fighter.
Prime mayweather didnt dominate out of prime de la hoya, says alot.
When de la hoya got a higher % of punches in the trindad fight - shit he still lost. And ima boricua and thought that was bullshit. That dont mean nothing. He hit him more but they looked like they were playing some b ball than a fight, clean as ever. De la hoya kept coming.
Which is why this fight was clearly even. There i surely going to be a rematch because this holds to much discussion. These judge cards and scores are always debatable.
lol Wipeout, what wiping did mayweather do...um nothing.
Mayweather didnt put on a all high impressive show.
FYI I never said de la hoya would rock and roll over mayweather. This fights pisses me off because it was so close, then some mayweathers fan exclaiming oscar got trashed....wtf. A man with slower reflexes, waiting to do something. etc whatever the excuse, mayweather didnt knock oscar out, he never came even close. What mayweather did do very good was avoid being hit. Thats how he won.
Cotto hits hard and has a good chin. He slows down later in the fight but his foes are so pwned by then whats the use.
Jadah cant take a body shot to save his life.
this is just another complain thread. and yet, bmore brawler tends to reiterate his same bitchy responses towards the fight. why don't you guys just make 1000 threads and posts about how oscar should have won. when i first saw this thread, i was expecting to see a thread about how the fight should have been unanimous for floyd, but all it was, was another whinefest thread about the fight and how floyd really lost, and how oscar was screwed, the points were wrong, floyd's a bitch who runs like a chicken, he's afraid of him, he afraid of her. he smells this way, he smells that way. this is all this thread is about, complaining about floyd. you know you guys are making his name so big, it's scary. floyd's will be the biggest name in boxing by the time the hate is finally finished.
Cockblocker.
Sure, no need for a rematch when you know who the winner will be.
This fight was a draw, nothing too big from either side both had even offence. Mayweather fans are clearly biased.
That was a DOMINANT performance by Mayweather, and was disgraceful that one judge had it as close as 115-113 for MAYWEATHER
He dominate de la hoya much as de la hoya dominated him.
I think the exact opposite. I think Oscar was in his best shape ever and fought as hard as he could. Floyd seemed like he cruised the whole fight. Oscar tried so hard and pressed the action while Floyd basically just stood there and took what Oscar gave him. In a rematch Floyd would kill him. I think part of Floyd's problem was that he was worried. I think for the 1st time he was worried about how his body would respond, was 154 too much for him, would he still be fast, would he have any power, would Oscar's power really hurt him. I think he found out that it was much easier then he thought it would be and he would be 10x more aggressive next fight and have no worries of Oscar
Not ever...he was winded after round 8...but good for his age thats for sure. He's still got some golden left in him.
Cotto has caught alot of attention while the average american doesnt know who hatton is. I just found out who hatton was and think hes pretty impressive. Mayweather would be moving and ducking, dodging all night because a hit from that man and its lights out.
Yeah right, a rematch would prove the true winner of the fight...not mayweather. He did nothing impressive but fight smart and avoid being hit. He didnt beat oscar.
So far Mayweather is landing the more accurate and effective punches. De La Hoya is flurrying and pleasing the crowd on occasion, but I have Floyd ahead on points so far.
Wait, italianmafia23 of animalelite?
Dude, this pitbull is conditioned like a mother fucker, this dog can fight for hours and hours wagging its tail. Damn dog is ripped.

A prime DeLaHoya can hold his own with any fighter in any era. Oscar is one of a kind , thats for sure.
Even out his weight class? Wouldnt that be like matching a 30lb pitbull with 70 lb pitbull?
Well in anyone opinion, who do you think has more will to finish what they started? I dont know much but just curious about what people have to say. Cusin of mine says hoya has more heart compared to the guy he's fighting...
