Look at who Mosley and DLH fought in the last 5 years:
DLH:
P4P #1 - Mayweather
P4P #1 at the time - Hopkins
Middleweight - Felix Sturm
Ricardo Mayorga
Fernando Vargas
Apart from Mayorga, I dont think Mosley would have beaten a single one. Do keep in mind that Vargas 4 years later was VERY Competitive with Mosley in their first fight and also before has beaten Winky Wright, Ricardo Mayorga beat Fernando Vargas in his recent fight which showed us how shot Vargas was, and because styles make fights I wont use the "DLH KO'd Mayorga, who beat Vargas, who was competitive with Mosley" theory but its just an example on what some guys do by saying "Cotto beat them better". We do agree styles make fights right? Foreman beat Frazier better than Ali, but the end of the day we knew styles made fights and Foreman-Ali was different, This is just an example for you. Now I didn't mean to attack you or anything but Mosley in his last 5 years lost to Wright twice, which DLH would too, fair enough but then struggled against fighters such as Jose luis cruz and Estrada, was competitive with a Ruined by Tito/Oscar Vargas. You may not care what the majority opinion is but if you dont like a fighter dont let your hate cloud your judgement, saying Hatton, Baldomir, DLH or Judah aren't good wins is the same as saying Quintana, Mosley, Judah aren't good wins, If you want to critise one, you have no right to praise the other either.
When there are 3 prime welterweight contenders in the division, no, those aren't good wins. Not even close.

Parody the guy is a idiot he has said in previous post that PBF has never fought a P4P fighter......
Untill I proved him wrong...
He knows shit about Boxing....
JUST ignore him
Wow, Your not biased at all with no double standards (Sarcasm)
Wheres the double standard? I just agreed that Cotto shouldn't get credit for fighting an aged Mosley even though Mosley has fared better than DLH in the last 5 years. Grasp for straws much? I guess it would have been better had I completely disagreed with you just to disagree. I'm a grown man, not some kid in flip flops. If I make a mistake, I own up to it. If you know something I don't, I'll tell you. But I'm not just some average joe with an agenda. Floyd Mayweather is the single greatest talent I've ever seen in my life, but what hes done with his talents is worthy of the praise above 140. What hes done at 130 and 135 is quite remarkable, but I'm not going to sit here and say his work at 140 and above is very impressive because its not. He was the champion in the toughest division and he chose not to fight a single top 3 contender who was in their prime. As a boxing fan, I have a problem with hoisting him up so high.
So if its a shit list after Chavez, then Cotto should not get any credit for beating Judah or Mosley right? Since Mosley was out of his prime as well and Judah lost to Cotto after he lost to Mayweather.
He shouldn't get full credit, you're right. But, Mosley has looked better than DLH in the last 5 years. Judah is just Judah, nothing special. When comparing common opponents, Miguel did a better job, and hes not retiring to avoid anyone, Floyd is.
Funny you say that...unfortunately the poll in this thread disagrees with you. The "Part-timer DLH" and Hatton" had the best chance out of the majority opinion, but once they lost the name calling and critising started immediately.
I could care less about a random poll. The fact of the matter is, he has avoided the toughest matchups at 147. The top 3 welters would crush Hatton and put a beating on an aged DLH.
He has paid his dues...
After a successful Amatuer career, in pro's he remained 11 Years as World champion, 6 times World champion at 5 different weight classes, 3 of them linear, P4P No 1 since 2005, in the P4P List since 1999 almost a decade, HOF Career, Included in the biggest ppv fight ever. Ring Magazine Fighter Of The Year in two different years 1998 and 2007.
Resume:
Corrales
Hernandez
Manfredy
Castillo
Chavez
Gatti
Hatton
De La Hoya
Baldomir
Judah
Shit list after Chavez. There were better fights out there to define who he really was at 147. But he chose a past prime part time fighter in DLH and a jr welter to help boost his celeb status. 130 and 135 look very good though. HOF yes, atg top 20? Not even close.
Depends. If Cotto loses in July he'll definitely retire undefeated. Unless Tony wins but emerges partially ruined, Tony-Floyd ain't happenin. If he fought Shane right now, Shane might have enough left to beat him but it ain't happenin this year so forget it. DLH can't win, Zab can't win, and Hatton can't win. He's in toss-up fights wit Cotto and Tony tho.
I voted other. I expect him to lose around age 35 once his reflexes start to slow down. Probably not to one of those fighters listed though... they will all be past their prime at that point.
Prior to the Baldomir loss, I would have picked Judah as the best chance. He may go down as the guy to come closest since he was actually winning the fight at one point against Floyd. Nobody else has done what Judah did the first four rounds until Mayweather adapted.
Funny how, Mayweather doesn't fight live opponents, when he just beat Hatton and Oscar back to back, the two who are leading the poll as to who has the best shot of beating Floyd.
as long as he keeps taking the easy road, of course not. why even accept a real challenge?
Everytime he beat a star, that star is trash....according to the critics...
After he beats the crap out of Hatton, people will say Hatton wasn't a real champion...I bet the farm on that..
