Rare Jab? he was hitting that jab quite a few times in the last half of the fight, and its not that floyd couldnt get DLH off him, DLH landed a lot of hooks to the body and the head. I didnt see DLH wobble from a Floyd punch once, I saw it happen 3 times to Floyd

It was the kind of fight I expected. I knew it was not going to be terribly exciting. Oscar was going to have a hard time finding Floyd and thats what happened. Floyd landed the crisper punches and when Oscar did flurry he harldly landed any of them. Was it the most pleasing fight no, but it showed Floyd's superior skill and athletic ability.

Let me say something. Given the size advantage, and the chasm that was a strength and power advantage, it was a grea night for Floyd Mayweather. Even when Delahoya flurried on the ropes and Floyd didn't have the power to get him off, he danced away. Even when Floyd's head was snapped back by a rare DLH jab, he fought on and maintained composure. As a person who has never been a fan of Floyd Mayweather, I have to say that he has gained my respect.

I'm not a PBF fan, I was rooting for DLH but I'll be fair about it, Mayweather deserved the win. Although it was close, PBF landed more punches. I scored it 7 rounds to 5 for PBF. :boxing: Yeah thats exactly how I saw the fight to. Some strange scores coming in from people, suppose I should watch it again.

Sounds like a fight with close rounds, where the scoring really depends on whether you give the edge in scoring to activity or defense.

I do agree that Floyd won, but I would not have been mad at a draw or a slight win for DLH. The activity and pressue he shown supports his winning. But in my opinion, Floyd did win but not convincingly like he said he would.

Very close fight. I scored it 114-114. I think Oscar pressed the action. I think Oscar blocked the majority of Floyds shots. Floyd was throwing single shots most of the night, many of which were not landing. Oscar was more active and landed more. Mayweather is awesome though. So fluid, so fast. The guy just needed to be more active if he wanted a clear victory...
