Graham admits here they were talking about this fights for year. People forget BOTH hattan and Graham were saying they were "not ready yet" for Floyd and it took them forever before they were finally ready. So long in fact that Floyd was done at 140, went to 147 became lineal and then went to 154 beat DLH while hatton was still fighting overmatched bums at 140 and finally they met in the middle at 147. Hatton had the opportunity to defend his lineal title against floyd after the Gatti fight but they "Werent ready" so floyd moved on.
But for some people Floyd was supposed to move from 154 to 140 because hatton was now finally ready even though the fight would have been hugely promotable when they were both at 140.
oooooooooooooooooooooh
Maybe he has re-watched the tape of Hatton busting up Castillo and has asked himself "Why couldn't i bust Castillo up as good as Hatton did?" and has come to realize what is in store for himself and is having second thought?
So you've always been a garbage poster eh? :lol1:
and ali wouldnt ever ko any version of norton or frazier in the early or middle rounds but he still whupped foreman who did knock em out early. you are right floyd doesnt have the power to knock hatton out early, so what? he would still knock him out everytime and more importantly he would defeat anybody in his era.
you keep writing this in these mayweather-hatton threads and i keep exposing it, are you finally gonna stop ducking my replies or do you want to keep living in your make belief world where hatton got wronged?
cortez is generally a lousy ref but he did a good job in floyds fights with both hatton and ortiz.
he instructed them to fight, if ortiz then chooses to drop his hands and look at cortez thats his problem. how is it cortez' fault? he told them to fight. when the ref tells you to fight you do just that, FIGHT! if you walk in with your hands low and get ktfo instead of defending yourself thats your problem you cant blame it on the ref
against hatton he made one bad call, he stepped in one time when he shouldnt have. but overall he did a great job. he let them fight on the inside, the only time he broke them was when hatton wanted to hold and hit on the inside (a foul). just bcuz hatton has been getting away with that thanks to corrupt referees in england all those years doesnt mean he can get away with blatantly cheating in the states. alot of british mainstream fans only seen hatton fight so they think its within the rules but it isnt, he tried to foul floyd and cortez didnt let him.
when they were fighting on the inside and staying within the rules floyd whupped his ass! thats the main thing, you hatton fans act like hatton was doing well up close, HE WASNT. floyd was whupping his ass up close and taking him to school on inside fighting, if anything he would have knocked hatton out earlier if he stayed inside more. thats where floyd did the most damage, only damage hatton did all night was to the ring post.
And once again he ignored you... Hatton fans still mad:booty::booty:
some budget **** for fat dan. look at the chin on that fat truck
he needs the beard to fool you into thinking he actually has a chin instead of a bunch of fat
--- how else do you feel?
At this point it defs has.
Oh at THIS point is has... Not when McGregor was on top. Not when Rousey was the hypest thing ever. Not when Lesnar broke he ppv record but now at THIS point it seriously has..
OP forgot to mention that Americans have only one undefeated champ with a solid resume in pro boxing
The only thing that Americans can do right now is remembering these old ass times when pro boxing wasn't international and other fighters from some certain countries weren't allowed to participate so Americans didn't have any competition. That's why their ATGs are only americans.
These old times when others weren't able to participate - this is the last excuse that Americans have, actually.
But nobody wants to hear that **** right now, who cares what happened in the past, that's not an excuse why your ass is not relevant at this current moment.
And they won't even be able to use that last excuse after 10-15 years from now
Daaaamn how long were you waiting to get this off your chest
Well what modern day fighter has "invented" something? Ward? No Hopkins? No Pacquiao? No Martinez? Rigo? Cotto? Canelo? Marquez? Bradley?
The sport has been around for more then 200 years. I'm pretty sure there is a patent on all the punches...
Waiting for someone to reveal their dragon punch.. stupid thread is stupid
Well his nipples are a pretty clear indication of gynecomastia. Now that doesn't necessarily mean he was on a roid cycle, he could have done pro hormones when he was younger and not cycled properly. And if that's the case PH is legal OUTSIDE of competition so...
