No win scenario for him:
Case 1: he wins gold.
He was supposed to win, no big deal
Case 2: he doesn't win a medal
He wasn't as good as we thought.
Case 3: his political enemies criticize him for not taking his new role seriously.
He can't win.
now, i can commend you again for posting something sensible....ha ha ha ha
So Pacquiao is getting trashed for not fighting in the Olympics and he surely would have been trashed if he did fight in the Olympics. He made the right choice. Pros have no business fighting amateurs. In most cases they would KO the amateurs so the weird lousy amateur scoring system wouldn't matter. Pacquiao is a fearless person who fought his way out of the worst poverty to become a great fighter against the odds. Maybe amateurs like Rigo, Lara, GGG and Loma would beat the pro champions when they were amateurs but they were exceptions and few amateurs are that good.
