A true boxer.
The type who relies on his outstanding movement, crafty veteran tricks, head movement and defence, who doesn't rely on his overrated power like some unskilled caveman, who holds American citizenship, who listens to hip hop. You know, the type of boxer who I, a hard working but oppressed and discriminated citizen, can identify with.
How would he do?
I'm not a Golovtard, far from it. But I got to call it as I see it. I don't think prime Hopkins beats Golovkin and if you add the obvious ducks in his resume, he's definitely top 5. Even with his resume, his dominance over the division cannot be ignored.
this my top 15 p4p, p4p should be ranked by resume
1. A. Ward 30-0(15) (175)
2. S. Kovalev 30-0-1(26) (175) WBA (Super), WBO, IBF
3. M. Pacquaio 58-6-2(38) (147)
4. G. Rigondeaux 17-0(11) (122) WBA (Super), Lineal
5. R. Gonzalez 45-0(38) (112) WBC, Ring, Lineal
6. T. Fury 25-0(18) (201+) WBA (Super), WBO, IBO, Ring, Lineal

Golovkin is a top 5 p4p boxer and one of the greatest middleweights in history.
Can't wait to see him in a good fight.

What an idiotic Thread
I feel most true boxing fans like GGG.
Agree it's mostly the trolls that fake the idea that they're a hardcore fan of the sport that dislike him, hating GGG is like hating Muhammad Ali perhaps its jealousy.
Many of the biggest Golovkin haters called Adrien Broner the next Floyd Mayweather Junior. Let's not pretend they hate on Golovkin so much for actual boxing reasons.
There are certainly reasons to criticize Golovkin, but that's not driving most of the hate.
I don't like any fighter other than Cotto, Bradley, and Wlad so I knew Broner wasn't going to be the next floyd but i still crtisize golovkin,

people who love the sport at the expense of any subjectivity. yes, he's not been moved perfectly, and the brook fight absolutely blows, but he's still the most avoided fighter in the sport and can't be held responsible for virtually every top contender ducking him. when they've stepped up he's knocked them out.
