I enjoy reading these old threads. Just goes to show you the extent posters will lie and delete old posts rather than give Floyd credit for doing what they said he couldn't or wouldn't.
Worse, is when guys get caught lying and flip flopping, they double down.
Shame that so many of these lying as flip floppers are called "good solid posters" by some on NSB just because they criticize Floyd.
SMDH!!
smh...the fight was only to take place if judah beat baldomir, since he did not it was dead. they even made a new contract after judah lost to baldomir please do some research instead of pretending floyd was forced to fight him which he was not. he chose to because it was an easy fight against a guy who had just been exposed.
you seriously thought baldomir was good? come on man. that was an easy mark and so was judah after being exposed. too bad he couldn't fight margarito who had been #1 for 3 years instead opting to choose a guy who had one good win then lost to a bum and then that bum instead of a proven champ. oh and sharmba mitchell for some reason. floyd defense force!
Emmanuel Steward picked Baldo to beat Floyd.. Jus saying.
That "bum" was red hot. The Cinderella Man.
daggum would cut off his own clitoris rather than admit he was wrong and give Floyd credit.
To get embarrassed by lomachenco maybe
Lomachenko employs an unorthodox style that is susceptible to bombs at times (Linares). While his style is completely different, the dominating performance he puts on other fighters, who are scared to "punch with him (i.e. at the same time)" makes him comparable to a prime Roy Jones. Especially with how that same unorthodox style allows him to be a runaway with the "P4P #1" title even though his competition may or may not have been as stiff as some of the other fighters on the list. Unlike Roy Jones, Lomachenko has attained to P4P #1 without having had immediately avenged his lone loss to Salido (In Roy Jones' case, the loss to Griffin was immediately avenged, and that by K.O.).
Gervonta Davis would punch with Lomachenko and make it a very tough fight for Lomachenko, who has shown susceptibility when a fighter with a big punch 'punches with him'.
My prediction if they fight is that it would likely end with Lomachenko convulsing on the canvas, with blood leaking out of his ear and shit streaming down his leg.
Yeah, if Mayweather goes up, he'll experience his first loss, assuming he wins all his matches here. Eventually you get to a point where you can't continue to move up anymore.
LMAOOOOOOO Christ
PAC wasn't going to be bullied or have his name smeared. A lawsuit was settled and upon that settlement he agreed to testing. What followed was about ten subsequent excuses by Floyd to avoid him for five years. He even admits it himself.
Freitas and Casamayor had a legit shot at beating him. Slinks did want to fight him.
That wasn't a bully tactic. Other people thought that Pac was juicing because his rise in weight keeping the domination. Floyd had agreed to everything and it was a 50/50 purse split.
Erroneous that after Pac gets KOed by Marquez was calling for more Red testing .
I agree with Johnston and Frietas would had been good fights but he didn't duck them.
Gtfoh.
Next, was a year and a half removed from the ring Shane who was war torn to begin with. Wheres the glory in being proud about that?
You ducking the real question. Which is why not the 147 beltholder Mosley fresh off the Margarito win, than a lightweight Marquez after a 2 year layoff where you watched all the best guys @ 147 pound on each other. Floyd weight bullied Marquez on the scales to boot. It can't be because Mosley had 5 losses, Baldimir had like 9 like my man said earlier.
Hell Cotto beat a better version of Mosley than Floyd did.
You should be proud atleast because we know it's the fight you were asking for at the time.
-The Martinez was correct
-Manny refused testing, no way around that one
-Cotto was with TR and I never heard of any Floyd talks
-Johston I was a big fan, no reason to duck him and they were not on a collision course.
-Frietas, look at the Casamayor fight.
-Never heard of Sphinks going after Floyd.
-On Maro he opted to fight Baldomir for the same money leaving TR.

Revisionist history.
Martinez offered to come down to 150 when Floyd was a title holder at 154.
He ducked Margarito before buying out his contract with Arum. Turned down a career high payday.
Mosley was trying to get Floyd since 135, fact!
After Manny agreed to testing, Floyd openly admits he "marinated" the fight for five years. His words.
Cotto wanted him before he was damaged goods.
Stevie Johnston was a slick southpaw that Floyd didn't want to fight at the time.
Freitas was no joke, and Floyd wanted no part of that.
Spinks wanted Floyd, but Floyd refused to fight him.

He was promoting a fight with Marquez after the 2 year layoff.
Kenny asked him why Marquez, and not Shane because Shane was a champ @ 147, and Floyd justified it by saying Marquez had a country behind him and Shane wasn't ppv worthy and had 5 losses. Sounds like duck talk to me.
Wasn't until Shane got in the the ring until some action from Floyd was taken, and even then it was after a failed Pac fight attempt was on the table. By that time Shane was what, a year and a half out the ring. You had to twist Floyd's arm to make the fight.
So Floyd ducked Mosley by trying to make the Pac fight?

THAT INTERVIEW WAS RIGHT BEFORE HE FOUGHT SHANE..SO HOW CAN YOU USE THAT?

Yeah I remember those days.
They were the days when you said Floyd-Mosley was the fight the world wants to see and he proceeded to sign to fight him 3 months later.
Back there when Cab Calloway was running s**t I suppose.
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit paraaade...

Throw in the flag and stop embarrassing yourself.
I'm starting to get sick from Mayweather winning allofasudden he's unbeatable.
- Oldgringo 2005
This is what it really comes down to.
In 2005 Floyd made them sick......
After 12 more years of dominance....
Now look what we have today.

Martinez was never in his weight class
Floyd made $1 million more to beat baldomir and become the lineal cheampion :lol1:
Mosley ducked floyd. FACT :lol1:
Manny never agreed to the demands, that was a lie look at this quote in 2011 :lol1:
" is willing to agree to random drug testing - but not by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)"
So which one is it DUCKQUIAO, I thought you agreed to the demands???
Cotto ducked mayweather in 2006, cotto and bob arum said they weren't ready :lol1:
Spinks lost to judah, freitas didn't wast to fight him after floyd called him out
