He had a power, but the had a power of a prime heavyweight, when he was in his prime, that is all. His power was never anything special. Stieverne ate everything Wilder had in the first fight. Duhaupas ate everyhing, the fight was stopped because of a cut. Fury was dropped many times by Wilder, but Fury was dropped many times by other guys also. Parker was never hurt. Zhang was never hurt by Wilder`s punch. I think Itauma and Wardley hit harder and with more devastating damage Wilder ever did. I agree with you 100% and have always said the same thing.

When for once he left the comfort zone of the PBC and took serious fights outside the control of his crafty handlers, he got exposed for who he is. Everyone seem to forget when he let it all out and became aggressive against Zhang seconds before he got knocked out. I guess he didn't let his hand go in that instance too? So he wasn't shot when he KO'd (Palm Out) Hellinuis in what was clearly scripted? Men like Zhang and Parker were always the favourites, regardless when they fought Wilder, regardless what the odd makers think. But of course, who needs such a viewpoint when excuses can always be made and easily lapped up.

I would say that Wilder was not the same fighter after the Tyson Fury trilogy. It took a lot out of him both mentally and physically. Wilder was just a shell of his former self when Zhang defeated him. By that time Deontay was already a ruined fighter. A prime Wilder would have whupped Zhang's ass clean.​ Excuses upon excuses. I think everyone thinks the same however its the way he countered that last guy he fought that was perfect timing in a split second and youd have to assume he can do that to anyone and therefore hes a dangerous threat to them all The hype pre-dates that fight.

One way to measure a boxer's power is to check how it measures against guys with renowned chins; guys who can take a punch and don't go down too much or at all. Another way is to see how other fighters deal with the same fighters. Szpilka, a very limited fighter, not know for his chin, went down against Wilder in devastating fashion in the 9th after taking a few CLEAN yet ineffective shots in the earlier rounds. The same Szpilka got knocked out in the 2nd round against Chisora of all people in yet another frightening fashion. I can go on and on about other opponents. Don't tell me his chin (which he doesn't have, to begin with) cracked after the earlier fight; it doesn't work like that in every single case, and that would be speculative, at best. Bottom line is, if Wilder had knocked out/down Parker and Zhang (both guys have proven chins) in a similar fashion to how he did those 30+ guys, then his power wouldn't have been questioned. But then, his defenders will say he was shot (yet another convenient alibi), which is, again, speculative at best. Some would say, he didn't connect against those guys, which isn't true because he did, not on many occasions, but he did. Remember, he needs just one second, so they say. By the way, Zhang left no doubt about his own power with the way he knocked out Joyce; that's the way you prove it.

The winner was not suppose to fight Bakole Ajagba for final eliminator. Bakole Ajagba was meant to be final eliminator. From what i can see the following has happened. Chisora vs Wallin was not a final eliminator. It was an eliminator, between 8th vs 10th in their rankings. IBF ordered Bakole vs Kabayel for final eliminator. Kabayel pulled out for whatever reason, think his claim was Bakole wanted too much money. So IBF ordered Bakole vs Ajagba for IBF final eliminator. Bakole then accepted Parker fight on late notice and so was disqualified by IBF to be in a final eliminator next. Bakole lost. But Bakole Ajagba still made for May 2025, however no longer qualifies as an IBF eliminator so looks like in this case Bakole and Ajagba are now out of the picture for IBF IBF decided that Chisora winning Wallin and Bakole Ajagba not fighting (they are now yes but Bakole fighting Parker disqualified that Ajagba fight from them letting it still be a final eliminator) and was good enough to shoot Chisora up to 2nd in their rankings and calling him mandatory. That seems to be the reason but still think it is ******. Rather Kabayel be mandatory with the win over Zhang makes more sense but these organisations rankings and process are all ****​ This! Also, the IBF couldn't have picked Kabayel as their mandatory after he pulled out of a final eliminator; they have a penalty system for such behaviours, similar to how Bakole was later penalized. I particularly like this about the iBF, although I would have preferred Kabayel as the current mandatory in these circumstances.

Boxing fans are terrible at predicting fights. Many folks posting all kinds of predictions here are the same persons who gave Usky no chance against AJ. They have all forgotten their previous failed predictions and are back again spilling all-kinds. Wilder will do this, Wilder will do that. They forget there is a reason why his best three wins are probably Ortiz, Stervene, Breazeale.

Boxing fans are mostly clueless; carried away with fanship and media narratives. A true fan of the sport doesn't care if a fighter has many Ls and rarely mentions it, after all, every fight is still nothing but a fight. Fans make up ideas in their heads who the top guys are, which was fed to them by their bias and the media, whereas in reality, figuring that out is near impossible 'cos fighters would almost have to all fight each other. Some even go as far as crating a top-N. Very laughable. I have long decided not to be a fan of any boxer. I don't care much if a certain fight doesn't happen provided there are other fights out there for me to watch. All fans care about nowadays is to allign with popular opinion, created mostly by a media with an agenda, or simply parroting what others say. Take Chisora for instance. Some boxing fans here sh*t on him for his loses but if you look closely, their fav fighter has been around for a long time but has not fought (if any) most of the fighters Chisora lost to. I don't follow MMA; can't speak about it.

I just finished watching the fight. I rewound rounds as much as I wish. And here's my summation: Its a pity what bias can do to a grown-up. It makes him/her sound stupid; very stupid at that. Most people were just playing the fan B-S. It was a very easy fight to score. Rounds weren't as close as some say. All through the fight I struggled to find a single round I could give to Wilder, bar the KD rounds. All Wilder did was miss, miss, and miss some more. Fury didn't only outbox him round to round, he out-punched him also round to round with the cleaner shots; and that isn't saying much cus' Wilder hardly got anything clean, even replays hardly found them; on Showtime for that matter. The KD rounds were Wilder's, as the rules dictate, but how Fury handled the remainder of those two rounds took away some amount of shine in the KDs----but like I said, those two were Wilder's. At the end, what a robbery! The body language of both men after the final bell spoke volumes; the same thing after the cards were read. The aftermath reaction from keyboard fans as well as the fighters reminded me of the story of Solomon, his two wives, and the baby. You know who is which wife! I'm not a fan of either fighter. Just so you know, I like *Ortiz (too old already) as well as Usyk (he should climb up). Not a fan of Joshua, but he is good (skill-wise) and serious. Not exceptional though. I dislike Fury 'cus of his "numerous" in-ring clowning. Other than that, he's a good fighter. Wilder? I think he is a one-trick man all-day, who has done an impressive job at cherrypicking. Last weekend was a cherrypick gone wrong. That Cali judge (115-111) should be banned. Only corruption can result to such a scorecard. No need stressing this further. Now, what next? FURY: go for AJ. There's nothing else to prove fighting Wilder again. If AJ doesn't happen, fight Wilder if you wish, but it MUST be in the UK. Don't fight him in the US under any condition. Don't prove you're a traveller. We already know that. WILDER: go for AJ and cashout, possibly the plan all along. Whenever you lose your belt, you will likely get exposed further while going through mandatory routes (routes other than WBC's). Fury beats you AGAIN in a rematch in the UK. Just cashout over two fights with AJ. JOSHUA: go for either guy. DON'T fight Wilder in the US, even in a rematch unless he KO you in the UK. Fury learned a robbery the hard way. Also, Fight Fury in the UK, and then rematch in Las Vegas. Heavyweight division is a disgrace these days. I so miss the 90's!
