Seriously? Knock Pacquiao out in the eleventh round? Chris Algieri who has less than 50% KO percentage and also going up in weight?
It's so freaking stupid I can't even express it in writing
While I think Maidana for sure deserves a rematch and that it would be a good fight I would like to see Mayweather fight someone else. He only got like 3? fights left on his contract and I want to see him fight some other guys. Maidanas style is pleasing but we have seen that style quite often against Mayweather, would be great to see Mayweather against a quicker guy or a great boxer.
Never seen him before. I was impressed. He was very active even in the later rounds, throwing a lot of combinations. I thought he didn't have much power judging by his KO-ratio but he definitely got some pop on his punches. He broke Aydin down methodically and when the opportunity to stop him came - he delivered. Defintely want to see more.
That was right on the button, perfect shot on the chin. I can't think of any other guys that would stay standing after taking that one.
Yup and he walked straight into it with his hands down.
Stiverne's is pretty freaking rock solid to take Arreola's punches like he did without barely flinching.
Great point! Very impressive to take shots like that from a heavyweight.
Carl Froch no doubt has the best chin in boxing and i'm not a fanboy or anything lol.His chin is FUKING granite.
One of the best no doubt. His recuperative ability is most impressive to me, that shot by Groves would have knocked out most guys for sure. He was freaking lost for five seconds and amazing how well he recovered after that.
I don't really understand how this point system and betting works, but if anyone want to bet against me I'm up for my 18k points. I got Froch in this one.
Close competitive fight. Had the fight 114-113 Trout.
But Canelo looked like the winner based on the body language, knockdown and of course the open scoring which is the dumbest thing ever.
I even thought May-Guerrero was an intriguing matchup but I do not like this one bit if it's true. Garcia needs at least one more convincing win, preferably in the welterweight division before taking on Mayweather. Herrera beat him in convincing fashion.
No need for a count. Groves started to get up after a few seconds but I do not think he knew where he was, what he was doing there and who he was facing. Devastating KO, it seemed as Groves needed a few minutes to really get his senses back.
Groves 5 rounds to 2. I felt he was landing more and cleaner. Froch had his spurts but honestly not a lot would land flush, Groves even won a lot of those exchanges. But you could feel that Groves was putting himself in danger more and more and that Froch was closing in on him.
Got to go with Povetkin. Never seen Charr get flattened like that, even in the Klitschko fight it was the cut that stopped it - Charr wanted to continue.
He could have won both fights just jabbing and occasionally firing off some power shots. But I think this is really difficult to stick by with 80,000 fans cheering. That's why Mayweather really is quite remarkable at sticking by his gameplan no matter what happens. Not all boxers can do that and not let the emotions take over.
He's a clever fighter, he sets everything up in a smart way. He barely loses any rounds, many other power punchers can get outboxed and are just looking for that shot to end the fight. Kovalev outboxes the opponent and on top of that stops them. At least that's what I've been seeing so far.
