Very impressed by Postol's performance!

This is literally what I was going to say. Against better opponents with real power he'd get eaten alive, Provo and Matthysse would walk right through him. Aydin may be crude and not all that skilled but nobody can question his punching power. The dude has pop.

Never seen him before. I was impressed. He was very active even in the later rounds, throwing a lot of combinations. I thought he didn't have much power judging by his KO-ratio but he definitely got some pop on his punches. He broke Aydin down methodically and when the opportunity to stop him came - he delivered. Defintely want to see more.

if he fights this bracero guy next i will lose a bit of respect for danny, they already took 1 "touch up" fight that nearly went horribly wrong. no1 expected herrera to look like that. danny has fought khan,zab,and lucas. he looked like a guy who would fight any1. please dnt tell me hes going to start changing and cherrypicking fights now

I'm surprised people are so impressed with him. The KO was good but that's all, He moves like a robot ,no rhythm. I don't think he can beat any decent name at 140. Are you senile? The dude threw combination punches as good as just about anyone in the business and it's hard to have a great defense while consistently throwing 100 punches every round. The guy was amazing.

Garcia will just move up imo. He's fighting Bracero next and said it was his last at 140. is he fighting bracero for real then? can't believe it.

Danny's people need to make the fight with Lucas or Postol. Finicky boxing fans develop amnesia on a dime. I think he beats them both. Either way the quickest way to make people forget Herrera is by beating a well known fighter. Or in the case of Postol a hot fighter coming off of an impressive win. Garcia will just move up imo. He's fighting Bracero next and said it was his last at 140.

Danny punches with his opponents,something Aydin never(ever!!!!)does..Which is really frustrating to watch btw..Danny beats Postol and possibly knocks him out.. pretty much agree with that but Postol's volume punching may give garcia problems, especially since garcia is such a slow starter.

I agree, Postol's height is an issue for Danny, who I think is about 5'7'' or 5'8'' but Danny shows he can adjust and after slow starts he normally starts timing his opponent. First time watching him and was very impressed. His combinations are a thing of beauty even if they don't have much pop on them. He knows where to throw them and just does not stop punching. I think he would school broner and have a great chance at beating Garcia. I can't lie,I was not impressed at all..It's not his fault tho,just not impressed by the opponent..Aydin has no balance no head movement and tbh is a really bad fighter.. Well let me take that back,he did score a KO over a fighter who had never been knockout before..I thought that was great for him and made me wanna see him again,against a better opponent of course..He's young and has time so let's see what's next for him..His performance was ok,I can't say i was really all that impressed,again doe..It had more to do with Aydin then himself so to say..

Well what I meant was that it's realistic to talk about because they're effectively due to fight one another. He has a good jab, I don't know if he beats Garcia but I don't think the fight happens. watched postol vs aydin again. aydin is f#cking awful. usually only throws one punch at a time, let postol turn him around like an amateur. postol doesn't look to have a good chin, but his style, height, and arm length will give guys problems. he reminds me a bit of miguel vasquez, only vasquez has zero power, and postol actually gets good leverage when he uses his knuckles. postol will be well suited to move quickly, and make his run at a world championship at 140 lbs. there aren't any big weltwerweights out there other than thurman and porter, but i think those two body him in particular.

He beat Hank Lundy as well. I'm higher on Hank Lundy than most people. I think he's a good fighter despite some losses. i like hank lundy as well. he's not a world class fighter, doe. he's athletic enough that he looks good in spots, but he comes up short at the world level.
