Breaking news on the Manny Pacquiao injury.
It's bull****.
They say he tore it in the fourth round, yet he had most success with his right hook after the fourth round and it was his most frequent punch in the second half of the fight. Funny that.
You guys really need to man up and see this for the media spin it is. Every single possible angle has been covered by Arum after the fight, but the most important thing of, the actual fight, there isn't a shred of evidence that points to Pac having a performance affecting injury during it.
No mention in the corner by the fighter or his team, at any point. Pac has mentioned leg cramps in the corner before and treatment has been applied frantically. You think that in his biggest fight ever, the most important of his career by far, that he wouldn't once mention that he had just completely torn his shoulder muscle out, thus basically guaranteeing a loss? You thick losers think that he wouldn't even hint at it?
You think the corner wouldn't be hyper aware of such a dramatic injury and thus have multiple solutions prepared, from ice packs, to heat packs, to massaging and everything in between? So, in the biggest fight of his career, going into the fight with a shoulder injury, there is no early mention of whether it is holding up ok, and then, most striking, Pac himself doesn't mention anything when he comes back to the corner after the fourth round directly after he has supposedly just ripped his shoulder muscle to shreds and can't even lift it anymore.
This, despite him being brave enough to talk about leg cramps and getting his corner to work on them in significantly lesser fights.
Then there is no mention of it the rest of the fight, and he's miraculously able to throw and land counter hooks, jabs and flurries all with his right hand after the fourth round with his usual speed, power and with the same frequency he had shown early.
The one thing Arum is the best at is spinning bull**** for the media and flooding the media with it and you morons have bought it, hook, line and sinker.
Like I said, the proof is in the pudding.
What it comes to is this very simple proof. If Pacquiao had a bad (read performance affecting) shoulder injury, he would not have been able to throw right hooks and jabs with any degree of frequency, power or speed. He threw them nonstop all fight. In fact, with a torn rotator cuff as they are now saying, he wouldn't have been able to counter over Floyd's left hook at all. If he tore his rotator cuff as mentioned, you can't even lift your arm up and your elbow away from your body.
Pac wouldn't have even been able to lift his arms at the end in celebration as he did without the slightest flinch of pain or hesitation with the injury they say, let alone throw flurries, right hooks and jabs all fight. You simply can't do it with a rotator cuff tear. If there was minor wear and tear, which is the case with most boxers anyway, then it was so minor as to not make any difference to his performance and it is simply media spin. This is by far the most likely explanation, because his performance wasn't affected in any way, shape or form by his right hand. He used it with great regularity, nearly always countering Floyd all fight, but he just couldn't land it with any regularity.
You guys need to come to grips with this and see it for what it is. Pure, unadulterated, bull**** spin.
