Based on what I saw fight night, Canelo would either knock Floyd out or win an easy, wide decision.
Floyd wouldn't keep Canelo thinking as much with so many jabs and a high workrate like Trout, so Canelo could just get in there without any trouble and would break Floyd down with monstrous punching, to the body and head, and he would simply break through Floyd's weakening defense.
Also, the legs of Floyd, now that they're going, wouldn't let him run away, so Canelo would hunt him down and beat him up.

he benny your a good dude but you went a little far on this one.
If George catches him, Canelo gets put to sleep. But Canelo would decision him with his elusiveness and power punching.
I give George a puncher's chance.
Good point. George would be weary after tasting one of Canelo's right hands.
Tough fight for Big George.
Canelo vs. Big George Foreman, who ya'll got???

alvarez needs to strap an oxygen tank on his back and bring relatives to judge the fight to even have a chance.
Well, he had some relatives judging last night, so that's no problem.
As for the oxygen gag, come on man, you and me both know that Trout made Canelo work much harder than Floyd would. Floyd throws about 3 punches every 4 rounds, and his power punches are about as strong as Trout's pawing jab.
Canelo would counter Floyds first right hand and KHTFO like Mosley nearly did.
Mayweather doesn't stand a chance. A 150-151lb aging WW vs a young, 172lb, powerful, patient, elusive, accurate, iron chinned, undefeated fighter like Canelo who will only get better and better. Some one's has got to go, and it won't be Canelo's.
The younger, actual JMW, Cotto, who's legs are still there, has a much better chance at beating Canelo in September 2013, than the then 37 year old Mayweather does on May 2014.
Yeah, agree with the first point, but are you on that crack man? Cotto beating Canelo? It would be a worse massacre than WWII.

come on bro stop.
Hey, hey, listen right.....Canelo and Floyd have two common opponents, Mosley and Baldomir.
Both of them took Floyd the distance, in easy, boring fights, and lost. Mosley nearly KTFO of Floyd though. Canelo annihilated both and nearly knocked Mosley out for the first time ever. He blitzed Baldy with a one punch super KO. Floyd would lose to Trout, and yet Canelo pwned Trout with an amazing display of power punching prowess.
Canelo = puma-like power punching prowess with poise.
I bet if that Barry guy with his videos did one, it would agree with me. He's like, totally one of the most famous trainers on the planet and he'd definitely agree.

Come on man, let's not go overboard with the hype. Be serious.
He would dominate Floyd but definitely not Klitschko. He's actually not that big, even for 154.
I'll give him a chance.
