back on topic: notice how tua is not on there? tua gave him a rough time in sparring. holyfield ducked tua! :)
From what I actually saw, Tua looked bad and was floored when sparring Holyfield ;).
Sturm could win by UD but it would be a very hard fight.
Taylor will fight Hopkins again on Dec. 3 and Sturm will fight Masoe for the WBA Middleweight Title next (date unknown yet).
I like Ward. He's really good and I think he'll become champ in the next years.. if he'll rule the boxing world as a Pound 4 Pound king is another question. I hope that he'll really fight on the Jones/Tarver III Undercard (as the biggest Roy fan in Germany.. I ordered tickets today, I hope I'll meet some of you ;) ).
Entrance Music = In The Air Tonight by Phill Collins
Gloves = Blue/White Grant Gloves
Trunks = Blue with White (also by Grant)
Shoes = White (by Everlast or Grant)
I think I would talk trash before the fight if there is "Bad Blood" with my opponent.
I don't wanna open a new thread so I'm gonna ask here.. does anybody know Tito's Walk-In song against Nard? Would be nice.
The vid is great, Hops is one of real favorites. Just amazing what he did.
Good list. I would rank it like this:
Champion: Vacant
01. Lamon Brewster
02. Hasim Rahman
03. Chris Byrd
04. Calvin Brock
05. Wladimir Klitschko
06. James Toney
07. Samuel Peter
08. John Ruiz
09. Oleg Maskaev
10. Luan Krasniqi
11. Nicolay Valuev
12. Sultan Ibragimov
13. Danny Williams
14. Larry Donald
15. Monte Barrett
Klitschko by a close, maybe even controversial, decision. I believe Byrd will be a lot better in this fight than in his last ones and the first Klitschko-Bout and Klitschko wasn't really impressice since a long time.
It was not like that Floyd was in trouble and Roger stepped in to rescue him. Judah did a bad foul (I thought both, the low blow and the punch behind the head, were intentional) and Floyd stumbled to a neutral corner when Roger entered the ring and started the riot. It was bullshit by Roger and he should be fined and such things but Floyd was probably the only man in the ring who keept it cool and showed sportmanship. So if you would disqualifie him, you would disqualifie the only person who did the right thing. Don't believe this should happen, just let it how it is.
No punch or something.. I think it was after some infight action or a clinch.. they just felt back into the ropes and nearly out of the ring. But I didn't watched the fight since a long time so I'm not sure.
A few.. like Winky Wright, Jeff Lacy, Antonio Tarver, Andre Ward and Roy Jones Jr. (+ Sr.) at the weigh-in for the third Tarver/Jones fight. I met Felix Sturm a few times and talked often to him. Markus Beyer, Oktay Urkal and Mark Hendem. And before I forget it, even if he isn't a boxer, Michael Buffer. All those guys were really nice and friendly.
Beyer will suprise anybody and score a late TKO or a wide UD over Kessler. His southpaw and counter style will give Mikkel all kinds of problems and I doubt he will overcome them. Beyer is always at his best when he is the underdog because the pressure is on his opponent in this case and without pressure, Beyer is a much better fighter then anybody thinks.
If Barrett is in good shape and focused he can and maybe will beat Valuev. Or at least in our eyes. The judges seem to be Valuev friendly and I don't think that will change now in the US with Don King behing him against a fighter who isn't that popular in Barrett.
I've meet Winky Wright, Jeff Lacy, Roy Jones Jr., Felix Sturm, Oktay Urkal, Markus Beyer, Andre Ward, Antonio Tarver & Michael Buffer and probably a few more that are unknown or I didn't really talked to on some weigh ins.
Like:
Evander Holyfield
Roy Jones Jr.
Shane Mosley
Felix Sturm
Bernard Hopkins
Dislike:
Wladimir Klitschko
Antonio Tarver
Ricardo Mayorga
John Ruiz
Acelino Freitas
It would be great to see Mosley back at 147. And it would be much better, if Tsyzu moves up to 147. Mosley vs. Tsyzu would be very, very great. I think Mosley would whopped Tsyzu' ass.
