Barrera vs Juarez: Who did you think won

I felt it was a draw, but this fight reminds me of the Hatton v Collazo fight, most people going to go for baby face coz everyone loves him. I think so too. I had it a draw, or a win for either guy by a point at most.

Barrera Won but he was in the process of losing..sad..another 3 rounds would have had Rocky winning possibly by KO or TKO. The Draw was ok too but Barrera did win alot of the early rounds and Split Decision win is ok; not quite enough aggression for Rocky. Also a Split Decision win for Rocky would have seemed unfair to Barrera. Bottom Line is... Barrera was losing the fight late but he Won because of the early rounds.

Soto doesn't need to call out Juarez, he already beat him. You better hope Rocky doesn't call out Soto. Soto walked through Rocky's punches like he was a flyweight :D Juarez just can't deal with Soto's style. Soto's style is a lot similar to Morales than Barrera. Morales would school Juarez if they ever fight. I wouldn't say he walked through Juarez' punches. Remember he got hurt bad in the fight and his corner was telling him to box and not slug with Juarez. I agree though that Juarez will have trouble with Soto again because Juarez has trouble with tall fighters who have long jabs and use them. Juarez needs to go back to using his jab to set up his power punches. For the past couple of years he has abandoned his jab and he has very hard stiff jab. He was using it alot when he was coming up now he just doesn't use it at all.

I had it eight rounds to four, 116-112 in favor of Barrera.

Barrera by a point........the draw was fine with me. Ihave no idea how Barrera lasted to the 12th and closed like a real man. Barrera and Morales are now both part of the old school crowd and need to get out while they still can. Barrera should go for a rematch with Pac and call it quites.Even if he loses he goes out on a better note than he would if he doesnt fight him.

I gave the 12th round to Barrera, so for me it was 7 to 5, for Barrera. However, I see how you can give the 12th round to Juarez, so it could have easily been a draw. I don't see Juarez winning the fight, Barrera outjabbed the guy to score enough points in most rounds to win them.

thats fuked up man. Juarez fought a dam good fight, nothing but respect 4 him. hope he has a great career, hes an exciting fighter

Yeah, he's alot better than I thought he was. I've seem him fight plenty of times, but against stiffs...and I had no idea he'd fight like that against A++ opposition. agreed..I underestimated him for sure

I forgot to do my score card, but I also saw that it was a draw. I was rooting for Juarez though. It was a pretty good fight to watch.

Juarez needed to be more active. The fight was there for him to win. Either way,much respect for both guys. It looks to me that Barrera is starting to show his age. He might want to grab one more mega fight quickly. I don't anticipate a rematch with Rocky. That kid is good.

I saw it for Barrera by a hairline. But I am saddened by Rocky's loss, not because I rooted for him, but because I think he lost the fight more than Marco really won it.

I dont know what i said my previous score was, but I just watched it again and realized i had just about the same exact card as Lederman for the first time in my life. Also afte watching it again,more relaxed than last night i thought Barrera did much better than i thought he did. Good fight and i though Barrera won it by at least 2 rounds.

My scorecard read 106-103 for Barrera. Realistically... I think rounds (forgive me if they're off) 3, 7, 9, 10, and 12 could've been ruled either way or a draw. I'm pretty sure however many times I watch the fight I'd have a different score but I didn't see Juarez winning. I see round 10 being won by juarez easily. but round 4 could have easily gone either way. I had it 115-113 barrera, but i can definetly see a draw or even a victory for juarez. i agree with the draw decision.
