George Foreman
Larry Holmes
Riddick Bowe 3x
Michael Moorer 2x
Ray Mercer
Mike Tyson 2x
Lennox Lewis 2x
John Ruiz 3x
Hassim Rahman
Chris Byrd
James Toney
I wonder why Evander and Moorer never had a 3rd fight?
Its crazy to think a guy thats been through that many fights.. been hit by that many hard hitting guys, and hes still fighting... just wow.
back on topic: notice how tua is not on there? tua gave him a rough time in sparring. holyfield ducked tua! :)
From what I actually saw, Tua looked bad and was floored when sparring Holyfield ;).

You didnt even mention the guys from Cruiserweight he faced like De Leon &
Qawi x2.
Then you throw in some second tier type HWs like Ibragimov, Donald, & Thomas.
Then you throw in the Yeti.... I mean Valuev who he is about to fight.
If I was confident Evander was literate at this point I would tell him to write a book.
Holyfield is one of my favorite fighters of all time. I just wish he would retire. His brain probably resembles swiss cheese already.
I also respect his way while being on top. He never took it easy and always fought hard against anyone.
Holyfield's wins over Qawi and DeLeon at CW deserve a mention. Michael Dokes was an under-achieving former titlist who probably fought his best fight ever against Holyfield.
Only to Lewis, Bowe and Moorer until he was shot...
Ibragimov's resume:
Holyfield (45 years old)
Briggs
L. Whitaker
Zuri Lawrence
Ruiz' resume:
Holyfield (39 years old)
Rahman
K. Johnson (32-0)
Golota
Oquendo
McCline
Tucker
Thunder
He didn't beat Golota, only got that cuz of his head giving ability
i dont think ibragimov and valuev belong with those names
you wigger bitch
Literally can't imagine why Ibragimov and Valuev are unworthy of being on a list that Buster Douglas has a spot on.
he red kd me calling me a wigger... how the **** am i wigger... ur all morons... cuz i like roy jones? and listen to rap? is that really the qualifications?
Are you kidding? I get called a wigger on here all the time.
And yeah, it's because I like a black fighter and listen to rap.
i dont think ibragimov and valuev belong with those names
you wigger bitch
I would add them to the list only based on one thing:
The fact that all the guys you listed are the greats of the past, true legends of the sport, and NOW he is STILL fighting the best there is today. That is just incredible, Evander is a true legend. I hope he knocks Valuev the **** out.
And that's just his Heavyweight resume...you forgot Dwight Muhammad Qawi and the others he fought at cruiser. Remarkable resume.
Evander and Moorer never had a trilogy because Holyfield won the reatch emphatically and won the first one in a lot of people's eyes.
I always thought Holyfield won the first one, too. 5 years after he retires he'll be eligible for being voted in the IBHOF. Say he retires next year, if he isn;t elected when first eligible by 2014, the IBHOF should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

His resume is great but he's lost an awful lot- 9X...

John ****ing Ruiz gets on there and a talented fighter like Ibragimov doesnt?

ruiz is boring as hell but he has a damn good resume.

i agree with you.
Holyfield is the best of his time and he's going to be in the hall of fame (no doubt in my mind...or damn near anyone else's mind)...
the man has been brilliant.
i hope he finally somehow captures this title and makes a little more money. i think he deserves it for all the great moments hes given us in the ring.
