Trinidad KO 3
Khan would come out and try to box and Trinidad would just patiently circle for a bit and toss the occasional jab. Once Khan comes in trying a flurry, Tito would just counter him with a left hook and thats the end. Khan is not taking that punch. Would end in brutal fashion.
The real question is how was Khan who's been knocked out cold by Prescott able to survive the onslaught of Maidana and still remain upright? Khan just can't shut up until the total truth comes out.
Thats a very good question. This guy at 135 used to get wobbled by no names before he was KO'd. Hell, even in the amatuers he would get wobbled.
Now at 140, he sports a bigger physique, a zitted back, is still fast, and all of a sudden is taking punches better....
Anyone with eyes can see Khan has been on gear for a while.
ur hoping for the wrong person to beat him
he aint got the style to beat khan
You MUST be joking.
Mayweather would walk Khan down and sharpshoot punches through and around his guard, and he'd beat his body so bad Khan would be pissing blood.
Khan doesn't know how to fight inside. Never has, never will. All he does is jab, flurry, run, repeat.
How does that beat Mayweather??
First and foremost, I never liked Mickey. This guy is a product of Top Rank protection program. Was carefully matched early in his career that he never fought world level competitions in his first 30 fights, then suddenly becomes a 4 division champ 7-8 fights later? I never liked how he fights, he's too conservative making some of his fights dull and lack luster. But he did improve alot throughout his career, gotta give him that. But I'm not a fan of him, there it is. Cause I know I'll be accused of being a fanboy for saying this - MICKEY'S GONNA BEAT SPENCE IN A DOMINANT FASHION AND HE'S GONNA EXPOSE HIS HYPE.
I'm not a Spence hater. He's a good fighter. But there's just too much hype in him making him too good compared to what he really is. He's not really a monster as what people make him up to be. And trust me, he hasn't fought anyone of Mickey's caliber.
This fight be a reality check not only for Spence fans, but for anybody who thinks too highly of him. Mickey is more seasoned, Mickey is more skilled, Mickey is more versatile, Mickey is plainly better in most of the aspects. Spence can have the size, reach and the height. IT WON'T MATTER - MARK MY WORDS
He'll be eating hard and well-timed counters all night long
Come fight night, you'll see :moon:
Will you be one of those that comes back and says Mikey was too small after Spence stops him?
He beats them all.
Vs Spence- Probably his toughest fight. Spence has similar size and strength, but I see him getting overpowered and either losing a UD or stopped late.
Vs Crawford- Bud’s skills give Tito problems but sometime in the mid rounds he’s gonna get nailed with something big, and he’d get stopped late for sure.
Thurman- Keith would be on his bike from the get go but to no avail. He’s hittable despite his running, and his chin isn’t incredible. He would be stopped in no more than 7 rounds.
Porter- Bad style match up. He has no choice but to get in Trinidad’s wheelhouse and i don’t see a good outcome for him. Trinidad KO 5
Vs Garcia- No chance for Danny. Too slow and basic. Trinidad blows him out early doors.
Vs Pacquiao- Even the Pacquiao that beats Cotto gets stopped vs Trinidad. He’s fast handed but he gets hit and doesn’t clinch when he does. This spells disaster for him. I see Tito’s long right hand finding the target very often. Trinidad mid to late rounds KO here.
Vs Mayweather- The feeling is Floyd should win because p4p he’s a better fighter. But he’s not a better welterweight. I see Floyd jumping into the lead with his movement and jab. But that Trinidad right will find its way over Floyd’s shoulder roll like Mosley’s did and when it does, it’s game over. Floyd either gets stopped or gets on his bike like David Reid and loses the unanimous decision. Probably getting knocked down a couple of times.
When David Haye gets a W over one of the actual top guys in that division then he deserves to be talked about. Until then, he's the Adonis Stevenson of the heavyweight division and at least Stevenson has a belt.
Haye is all talk. Nothing more.
I think Khan's days as a full time fighter have been over. Doesn't come across like he's passionate about the sport anymore.
If he fights Brook, his inactivity and lack of desire will prove crucial, along with his questionable chin. Brook KOs him for sure.
But to his credit, he has clearly made a lot of money, and he has a career outside the sport and can make money doing something other than boxing, unlike Floyd. Best of luck to him.
Khan is no longer a full time fighter with the desire to compete against the best. He's going the David Haye route of just wanting to get paid and nothing more.
Kell Brook is the only worthwhile option at this point. He needs that fight to cash out because there are no other options to get him that big pay day.
Win, lose, or draw against Brook, Khan will hang up the gloves.
....
Who cares what he does when he hits the mitts or the bag?
Its like that video of Wlad on youtube, where he was slowly punching the heavy bag at a very casual pace...And guys yelled "this is the heavy weight champ? I can do better".....all while there is a video of him when he was younger going ham on the bag.
I'm pretty sure a professional knows not to keep his hands low...
Bad habits start in the gym. With the basic stuff like shadowboxing, hitting the bag and hitting the pads.
What you do in the gym is what you do in the ring.
I'm surprised someone as experienced as Freddie Roach doesn't correct these mistakes especially considering how much Khan gets hit.
What kind of a man turns down his CAREER HIGH pay day??... I might be a bit off with the figure, but last year Khan turned down 8 million to face Brook in Wembley Stadium for the world championship, and instead chose to fight Chris Algieri for 1.5 million...
The excuse was that Khan was looking for fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao instead, which on the surface of it all, is understandable... But looking at the way that both Mayweather and Pacquiao didn't even seem to ENTERTAIN facing Khan makes you have to question this all... Was Khan ever in the running to face either of those two??... Seriously... How "close" was he really to landing a fight with those guys??... If we let Khan tell it, he had signed "contracts" with both guys... And yet, neither Mayweather nor Pacquiao even MENTIONED his name...
I'm starting to think that ALL ALONG, Khan flat out KNEW that he was not getting either a fight with Mayweather or Pacquiao and used that as a smoke screen to flat out duck and hide from Kell Brook, all the while playing the role of the guy who Mayweather and Pacquiao are both "scared" of...
There is something about Kell Brook that has Khan SHOOK... Plain and simple... The fight is not only his career high pay day, but it's for a belt, in a mega event at Wembley with 90,000 watching, will surely be HUGE on PPV in England. And it's against a fellow undefeated Brit, to boot.... So shook is Khan of facing Brook, that he would rather get in the ring for LESS money against a guy that already gave him a beating more than 3 years ago, in what was a brutal stoppage... And before anybody goes on about how he's "avenging his loss", remember that Khan did absolutely NOTHING to get Breidis Prescott back in the ring immediately after losing to him... It's just further proof that Khan is full of **** and wants absolutely NO PARTS of Kell Brook, for whatever reason... I've never seen a guy run from money....
As a fight fan, I just have to believe... The guy is SCARED... He clearly just doesn't want to fight him. Even anyone here, for a mere 90,000 dollars would step in the ring with Kell Brook, get dropped, and go down knowing you got a pay day out of it. What reason is there to run away from a career high pay day other than your afraid? :dunno:
Algieri is a good fighter and has been steadily improving. He did better against Pac than some people think because many of those slips were incorrectly ruled as knockdowns. You take away the bogus calls and that fight is a draw or a 7-5 to Pac whereas Khan actually schooled him for virtually the entire fight.
You must be trolling.
That's what you get
for putting all your eggs
in one Khan basket.
:unitedsta
Khan just doesn't have the desire to compete anymore.
Garcia took his heart.
Contrary to Khan fans beliefs, Amir is not the superstar he seems to think he is... Especially in the United States. This is a man who has a KO loss to Swift, a decision loss to Peterson, and another KO loss to Prescott. His best win is over Maidana, whom he barely scraped by, and a washed up Judah... If you look at it, there is no real incentive for the likes of Mayweather or Pacquiao to face this guy. There is nothing to GAIN for them by destroying Amir Khan. It would not add to their legacies.
Khan is not a ppv attraction. His fighting style is only exciting because of the risk he'll get knocked out. He has no wins over any pound 4 pound fighters, nor any wins over any true top quality fighters who are at the peak of their powers.
I would never defend Mayweather or Pacquiao and I hope to never see them fight again. But what good reason is there for them to step into the ring with this chinless loud mouth?
Nah Keith, not anymore. Your two best wins (Garcia and Porter) look a little lackluster in retrospect. Especially when you see that Kell Brook had beaten Porter more convincingly than you did and Lamont Peterson has already taken DSG to school.
You ain’t as hot as you think you are.
