He was bashing Marquez when he was walking into the ring on the 4th fight against Pacquiao. Merchant was being a jerk and trying hard to insinuate that Marquez was using Peds, along with Larry Merchant . Merchant I can't stand for those statements and Lampley was throwing it out there as well. I remember Lampley even putting excuses on the table for Pacquiao throughout the fight. Shameful ! and yes he was sad and getting all choked up Jmm knocked out Pacquiao
Robert Garcia was spot on about everything, but you could tell he was a little hesitant about saying what he did about African Americans. He knows it wasn't right to say, but at the same time he wanted to say what he felt. I don't give a f*ck, I'll say right now in general a lot of them do talk a lot of sh*t. Mexicans do too, but not as much. Do I think its bad? F*ck no! I love sh*t talking. I love guys like Mayorga, Vargas, Rios, Broner, Toney, Tyson, and many others with attitudes. Let's admire Broner for what he does best and box. If he gets in trouble out of the ring then so let it be it ,he is the only one who will be paying the consequences,I will not be influenced by his tweets or his personal life . Lampley was already pointing out the obvious during the weigh ins almost everyone was suspect of Marquez new body, but he should have kept those opinions to himself and been professional and taken the unbiased stance.
a lot of the HBO guys show favorites unlike Showtime which is professional they dont take sides. Lampley should have just kept his opinions to himself but the guy can't.
Lampley and Merchant were diehard Pac Fanatics, go look up that video when Larry first saw Pacquiao and Lampley they were both sold on him, saying who is this guy I would love to see him again like he was an instant star.

Showtime = more professional unbiased commentary, except for Al Bernsteins slip up during the Mares fight where he was hating hard on Mares.

I remember the bang bang lol he is just too passionate and not professional enough, Like you pointed out ,he should be keep those opinions and comments to himself ,they only hurt a fighters image and whatever Lampley or HBO says, the Pacquiao fans believe and non casual fans .. Hbo is a disgrace along with Lampley and Merchant.
I remember watching the fights on mute sometimes and having music in the backround because of the favoritism Lampley displayed.
On another note I wish the Showtime crew would scoop up Teddy Atlas I think he's legit and not too biased

Good post Dan I agree as well he isn't even that good and has a one dimensional style. When he faces a puncher that doesn't throw one punch at a time and fights on the inside I want to see how he deals with it. I haven't seen him fight on the inside and believe he will get exposed soon if he fights Lucas. You better believe he's going to be on him every second of the round.

In the rematch they had to stop the fight cuz Margarito was beating up Cotto in the final rounds . Look at Cottos face after the fight was stopped he ate a lot of leather . Cotto will always be a cheater for low blowing Judah and body slamming other fighters in the process. He is a sore loser and has always been overrated .
I used to have the one for the Ps3 and it messed up my Ps3 console ,the game had a big time glitch I got 2 brand new Ps3 consoles and I tried playing Fight Night and apparently it was the game, they made a big deal out of it on the EA forums. I was very dissapointed that was the only reason why I bought a ps3 . I know this probably didn't happen in Xbox but still I felt bad that it was a badass game yet , I couldn't play it. I had to stick to fifa oh well.

Dude cried in both All Access episodes and Hunter had to almost convince him to enter the ring. The guy look like the epidome of depression during the ring walk.....some people obviously need to go back and take a look at that. He looked like a beaten man before the fight had even started. Then, in the ring, he weighed almost 5 pounds more than Canelo did and looked like the smaller man and a skeleton in there.
My dad told me the fix was in as soon as he saw El Perro walking into the ring. He kept pointing out why was he so damn depressed like he was already a beaten man before stepping into that ring.
I wonder if HBO When they have a 24/7 they are actually going to put it out there and mention it how he hired a past drug cheat just when JMM hired Heredia.
