Well, Nacho Beristain did say NO to JMM fighting Hamed as well as JMM fighting Eric Morales before... then they go around telling people that JMM is a ducked fighter - bullcrap.
Manny Steward openly said that they avoided JMM. Do you watch boxing?
Good move to cover your ass in case Margarito defied the long odds you gave him of winning the fight.
You knew obviously that your boy would look pretty bad losing to someone his fans called a bum.
:)
yeah, its just me being objective as usual. something you fairey boys over at the Hoe-Alition know nothing about.
Hahaha this clown stays losing. Bumping old threads. You are willing to bet me a screen name now that Margarito beats Williams, despite what you said in the first post. You're a confused loser.
someone is huuuuuuuuuuuuurtin
Williams is STILL a force in the Welter Division. If he were to give Margo a rematch, I'd choose Williams in a close SD. He's got the chin to withstand most of the power in the Welter division. Since he is still learning, it wouldnt be that far fetch that he would win the rematch against Quintana.
So who said I wasnt a Williams fan?
it is funny to look back at all the hypocritical cotto fans who were in this thread.
yo, who's artwork is that in your sig? I remember another one that was pretty dope. It reminds me of the shiit my dad used to do for me when he was locked up. If its you, props.
But talking about Floyd Mayweather ducking him is ridiculous. Mayweather would make him look like a child.
I always thought Mayweather would have completely dominated Margarito. But now I know for sure he would have.
Keep in mind Mosley is 37 years old and nowhere near as fast as he was at his best. Yet he toyed with Margarito and landed every punch he threw. If that's not humiliating I don't know what is.
Cotto is not even worth Floyd's time. Floyd would embarras that overrated bum.
I dont know of any other fighter with some many imaginary fights under his belt
"Floyd would have destroyed Cotto because Margarito destroyed him."
"Floyd would have destroyed Margarito because Mosley destroyed him."
"Floyd would have destroyed Robinson because Robinson had more than one loss"
Its because you mothafukers put too much stock in losses and undefeated records. If one of these prospects were to lose, yall stank ass bitch ass homos automatically brush them to the side.
I like how Oscar was in "prime form" and "looked his best in years" against Mayweather, but against Pacquiao, he was a "walking corpse".
the doublestandards are comedic gold.
In my opinion Casamayor looked like shit against santa cruz i couldnt even give him a round(well maybe one round). Second casamayor beat katsidis whos showed he cant hang with the big boys by losing to a declining casamayor and to diaz who lost to nate. SO I still give credit to marquez but the fight with casdamayor shouldnt have even been that close especially if your the p4p #2 fighter in the world.
You understand how styles make fights right? You have 2 counterpunchers in Marquez and Casamayor. Normally, the styles that require less effort to execute are counterpunching and defensive fighters which suit "older" fighters like Hopkins and Casamayor.
Casamayor a slick, southpaw counterpuncher. He's always going to give other counter punchers issues. Thats why the fight was close. Not to mention the fact that he still has a punch as proven against Katsidis.
Its funny how ppl think its acceptable for JMM and Pacman to have fought @135 without fighting Nate. Let it have been Mayweather there woulda been more noise about it.
JMM and his camp made it publicly known that they wanted Nate after Diaz.
But that didn't happen and who was at fault?
Truth is,
1. JMM offered Nate a fight, Nate refused because he wanted to fight sooner.
2. JMM offered Nate a fight after Diaz, Nate was unprofessional and came in overweight losing all his titles.
Does what? Beat JMM? Easy work.
Beats Mosley/Cotto/Williams etc.
Floyd doesn't have to fight any actual threats because he could beat them easily remember? He would destr Cotto, would embarrass Mosley, would KO Williams in the first round.
Wait is he unretired??? I havent seen any news yet...
thats the rumor, dude is coming back june 11th. personal, I dont want him fighting Williams or Margarito. Size advantage is just too much and it wouldnt be an entertaining bout. I dont mind him fighting Pacquiao, Cotto or Mosley.
JMM is just to small. He was a small lightweight and if he does fight Floyd, it will most likely be at 140. Thats taking it a bit too far, but if JMM wants to do it, he can't use the size excuse if he loses. He knew what he was getting himself into right?
Your basically doing the same way.
thats a fact though and the first time I've ever said that. I've never discredited any of Pac's wins except the 3rd Morales win. I've given Manny his props many times and I'm happy that someone like him is #1 p4p.
