I too, was rooting for a JMM win. I have it 6 rounds for JMM, 3 rounds for Casa with 1 round even coming into that fateful round (11th). I say this is just the Pacfans giving them a dose of their own medicine if this was all true, but I doubt it. There may be a few loose cannons, but it doesn't mean all of Pacquiao's supporters are all of the same mold... that's very true bro!

not all pacfans are downplaying juanma's victory... this is the first fight since erik-diaz that i have watch a fight live and i was rooting for dinamita and going to the 11 i have him at least 2 rounds ahead, it was not an easy for jmm and i jump on the sofa on the first KD just like a fan... IMHO it is a very IMPRESSIVE WIN FOR JMM, and i want PAC-JMM 3 to happen as the biggest fight of 2009 for ... ALL THE MARBLES NO. 1 P4P and FOR UNDISPUTED LW CHAMPIONSHIP!!! How about Marquez fought a retiring Barrera which a lot of people had MAB winning and Csamayor whos ready to retire? really tells you how styles makes fight but in the end Marquez still won, can't fuck up my high, lmfao

Maybe so, Ricardo Lopez was better than him though. Ricardo Lopez in a class of his own. But you can't deny Marquez greatness. Maybe im still hyped by the fight but man, i didn't expect Casamayor to lose by ko, and i didn't expect the fight to be so tight. I think one thing for sure is that we can all agree that its a shame we never got to see Mayweather v. Casamayor.

How about MAB when he's still considered top 5 p4p (2003) and Erik Morales who you even thought won his last fight against David Diaz! Give me a break! He can give hell for 12 rounds to anybody around his weight class, but don't try using Pacquiao or anybody else to elevate his status in boxing. He has nothing to worry about because his place in boxing history is already secured, no need to be envious of another boxer's achievement, let the hatred go amigo...

Aside from the KO win, Sta Cruz knock him down and schooled him in almost every round.. Casamayor won a lot of rounds against Marquez and ewas hitting him a lot.. So Sta. Cruz is a beast also? yup, that sounds about right.. . l

Marquez is only a few months younger then Casamayor so that don't mean shit. What i saw was a dangerour Casamayor he had me worrired through out the fight but damn, Marquez is without a doubt a great fighter. He is imo, at or above Morales and Barrera and i used to be a huge fan of both and still am.

People (and by people I mean pacfans) are already trying to downplay it on the note of Casamayor's age. Casting aside the facts that he was the man at Lightweight (lineal Champ), was on a 5 fight strak with 3 KO's, and had an epic battle with Katsidis just a few months ago. Marquez is the most gifted fighter in the sport right now. I'm amazed with his combinations and speed, his right hand is laser-like. If you want to learn how to box, watch him.
