Gomez Dear: HBO As a paying Customer and boxing fan, I am extremely excited that the powers that be would approve such a match of this Historic momentous to the sport of boxing, and especially at a time of the sport where when we are at a crossroads of wheater we are a dying sport or not. This is exactly what the sport needed right now, two of the top Two Welter Weight in the sport of boxing, fighting it out to proved who is the best and doing it to bringing more fans to the sport... I can not wait for this fight to happen, but my only question is why is this not on PPV because I wouldnt mind paying for it and I am sure that at least 1million people would pay for it too just like they do for all the other Miguel Cotto fights. This decision to broadcast this fight is a brilliant one; and I for one support this fight whole heartily, and I hope that everyone else is excited about this fight as I am. DLH may not be as bad as Gomez but he hits like Mora nowadays, so I think not only should boxing fans but Floyd himself should hold a higher standard than fighting that cross dressing clown!!!! Robbing the fans? You're kidding? This is a crazy fight. Gomez is huge and can take a punch. Very limited. Cotto is going to hand this guy his ass in a one-sided match. Should be fun to watch. It certainly is going to be alot more competitive then Mayweather - Bruseles, or Mayweather - Gatti, or even Mayweather - Baldomir. Cintron and Williams are scheduled. Who else should he fight, may I ask? How is this gonna be a crazy fight? yet its gonna be a one-sided match lol make some sense people.

LMAO that people think Baldomir deserves a shot a Cotto, but Cotto ain't done nothing to deserve a shot at Mayweather, what kind of sense does that make? Baldomir ain't done anything but beat Judah and a washed up Gatti, so why would he even be brought up in a real boxing discussion? Baldomir should be fighting someone like Vargas or Mayorga. Another thing is ask yourself would Floyd take a Paul Williams fight? Williams is a freak for the division and makes for a hard fight with any WW. I guarantee if Mayweather gave Cotto his shot and Cotto won he would then be willing to put his 0 and belts on the line against any WW in the division including Williams!!!!

Baldy has ZERO chance of stopping him, and at his age, or any age for that matter, a decision is highly improbable. I never said baldy would win, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did manage to pull the upset.
