You don't see the problem here???

Top money attracts top talent. The way ufc treats their athletes and only paying fighters 18% of the revenue that comes in is an absolutely massive problem. mma fighters are some of the lowest paid athletes on the planet and is a large reason why their athletes are not top elite athletes in all of sports. NFL, NBA, Soccer, MLB, Boxing all have a way bigger talent pool than mma does.

Yes because you haven't taken the time to get into it.

I mentioned universally memorable fights that to date UFC or no faction of mma has gotten close to that level.

That the best don’t fight themselves often enough I agree.

But when they do, light years ahead of your argument.
lol the thing is with those fights is that only one of them was supposed to be the best fighting the best.

The only example you can and should use is Wilder vs Fury. And it was great. I loved it.

I love boxing on the big stage. I just don't care to wait 10 years for every big fight.

I don't understand people who say mma or ufc is so big and popular yet none of mma fighters are ever on the 100 Highest Paid Athletes List. Thoughts???

            Another boxing fan accountant here.

Great argument for the sport being more exciting.

however, we know that McGregor is the highest paid active combat sports athlete.

He gets paid more than AJ and Fury.

Imagine saying guys that would quickly and easily beat boxers 90% of the time under most rulesets (or no rules at all) are not "real fighters", this is the level of desperation and delusion people have to resort to to cope with the UFCs existence lol.
Most boxing fans are a group of insure little pvssies.

If you ask the random UFC fan about boxing, they'll say it's a good respectable sport, especially the high level fights.

You ask a boxing fan about UFC they get all red in their face "deeerp it's SO G A Y to roll around on the floor hugging other men deeerp. Also UFC don't pay as well as boxing".

False. Tyson Fury is the Highest Paid Combat Sports Athlete of the past year. Canelo would have been with his DAZN contract but since COVID-19 then Tyson Fury became the Highest Paid Fighter in the world. Funny you call me an accountant then you put something out there which is not true and I post evidence to support that your claim is False. If you can not take that Top level boxers are higher paid then mma fighters than there is literally no point to talk to you.

I have no problem with anyone opinion on what sport they prefer more but fighter pay at the top level of the two sports is simply not comparable. Keep in mind that the name of the game is literally "Prize Fighting." The athletes from all over the globe come from poverty and literally try to fight their way out of it.

4 Boxers in the Top 30 Highest Paid Athletes in all of Sports. (Fury #11, Joshua #19, Wilder #20, Canelo #30)

Boxing fans are probably the only sports fanbase that brag about the money their favorite boxers make.

                    Is that the Mayweather effect?

I'm a big NBA fan and even the Jordan vs LeBron debates never devolve about the money they've made or who made more.

Your response makes no absolute sense to the post you quoted. The Canelo fight had to wait for the UFC to finish. Why was that? If boxing is that great.
