Yeah their match making is incredible. I'm still just a casual but every event they have is stacked with the best facing off.

I've gotten into the UFC over the last year or so. No bs fights is so refreshing. Looking forward to the Adesanya vs Costa fight

The thing is that the UFC has great match ups, you can be sure that the two top guys would face eventually with crazy exceptions like Khabib vs Tony and that fight was at least booked five times. Imagine a world where we would have Joshua vs Fury, Spence vs Crawford and Benavides vs Plant on the same year and even the same card. On the technical side, a Lumpinee Muay Thai Champion is way more skilled than a UFC Champion or a guy like Petrosyan and Tenshin and a guy like Gordon Ryan or Lachlan Gilles would smoke everyone in the UFC on the mat but the UFC has the best match ups with a narrative behind every fight.

The best in one organisation fight the best, mayhaps. The best in the UFC are not necessarily the best in the sport of MMA though, believe it or not. It is akin to calling the PBC stable a sport in it's own right. "I watch PBC!", "I'm a big fan of the PBC!", "This guy is the best PBC fighter in the World doe!" People do actually say these things, but they're generally the most mentally deficient posters we have on here.

one thing about the ufc is the best fight the best all the time, no aging, no waiting for things to turn in your favour before making the fight etc & the officials are not as biased paid off as they are in boxing

How many guys belong in the top 10 in the world outside the UFC besides Demetrious Johnson and Douglas Lima?
You can't compare PBC with the UFC, the UFC has 90% of the top dogs at least.

There is maybe 1 big fight a year in boxing. The matchmaking is an absolute joke. Nobody wants to lose so all the top fighters avoid each other and cherry pick. Could you imagine how big boxing would be if every month there was a super fight? I’ve been a hardcore boxing fan all my life but the last 10 years the sport has really declined. Not a huge UFC fan but I’ll watch the big fights, which are infinitely times more frequent than boxing.

the UFC is ****. dudes literally laying on top of each other, its awful.

I kept hearing how ' jon jones is the goat' so i watched his last few fights and he clearly lost them all, agaisnt massive underdogs and they just gave him the W. their best HW just went life and death with a 41 year 5'10 pudding FFS
