After getting into UFC, boxing has become so boring

I’d go with the former without a doubt. It’s the fans that matters more to keep this sport alive.
These present boxers have become divas than real fighters. A supposedly competitive sport has turned out to be a beauty pageant nowadays making boxing uneventful. UFC has now become what boxing should have been.Comment

I agree. I think UFC pay is too low but should Mikey garcia be getting 7 mil to fight jessie vargas? Nah, probably not.I’d go with the former without a doubt. It’s the fans that matters more to keep this sport alive.

Is this a serious question? Wlad was in ****ing Germany fighting guys like Samuel Peter while the UFC was in America showing Cain/JDS on Fox and having Brock break a million buys 4 times in a row, HW boxing couldnt even get on PPV. UFCs 205lb division is bigger than boxings cruiser divison most of the time too. Even going back to the Chuck/Randy/Tito days.
One fight was a retired 40 year old Floyd vs an MMA fighter, the other was marinated for over 5 years between two guys who carried boxings profile on their back for almost a decade. Since that fight (finally) happened the UFC has broken a million buys on PPV twice as many times as boxing.
"wrestled a little bit" ie was a NATIONAL CHAMPION.Comment

That's where it lies and that's why it's thoroughly entertaining at times..
A bunch of failed everything else jumping in an octagon either swinging for king and country or hugging like Elton John and David furnish all for pound shop belts and a bag of nuts...
It can be mental and with the 'i want it now' entertainment mentality, it's ideal...Comment

Yeah I do remember the Anderson Silva days. I couldn’t believe that he couldn’t even receive at least a million per fight when he was the UFC’s primetime fighter and was the #1 p4p. UFC kinda lowballed their fighters’ worth but they do know how to please their fansComment

On top of that we don't see proper fights any more.I’d go with the former without a doubt. It’s the fans that matters more to keep this sport alive.

I'm in it for maximum violence. Boxing doesn't deliver that very often.Comment
