After getting into UFC, boxing has become so boring

aint that the ****in truthThe best in one organisation fight the best, mayhaps. The best in the UFC are not necessarily the best in the sport of MMA though, believe it or not. It is akin to calling the PBC stable a sport in it's own right. "I watch PBC!", "I'm a big fan of the PBC!", "This guy is the best PBC fighter in the World doe!" People do actually say these things, but they're generally the most mentally deficient posters we have on here.

lol that's not the truth at all
9,9 times out 10 the best is in the UFC. That's been proven time and time again by undefeated fighters with big reputations coming into the UFC like Ben Askren or Justin Gaethje and immediately losing.
Of course the UFC sources talent from outside, but in terms of the name fighters at other orgs, they very rarely come and stack up to the UFC talent.Last edited by LacedUp; 08-21-2020, 09:08 PM.Comment

Yes the guys I mentioned were undefeated and came to the UFC and lost in their first fights.
They were considered the best outside the UFC.Comment

I feel the same way. I used to think that MMA was g a y but they are tough and almost always come to fight. Nothing g ayer than two men dancing around the ring throwing pity pat punches hoping to squeak out a UD on the cards I’m over boxing man
I want to see way better matches and leave it on the line like Ferguson vs GatheComment

I know boxing is frustrating as f**k. The chances of seeing an AMAZING fight are rare. But when those times happen, it makes you love being a boxing fan.
I'll always prefer the straight up, hand to hand combat of boxing vs going down to the ground to roll around for minutes until someone gets a hold of the other. Just personal preference on how I prefer my fights.
Someone mentioned awhile ago (may be on this forum, can't remember), that no man should ever be on the ground. At that point you have been defeated. If another man is standing tall and looking down on you, you are the weaker man. This is displayed in boxing at the highest level. You don't need to drop your man and then jump on top of him while he's already on the ground to finish him. It's the idea, that you just sat someone on their ass or back. You are still standing, they're on the ground and you are looking down on them as the inferior man. UFC has that, but boxing is what that is all about.Comment
