Thurman is 10x more popular than this Deontay character.
Do you think Mayweather, the PPV king, would offer Keith $15 mil?
Don't know why this Deontay guy's fans defend him like he's some Pacquaio or someone.
He's basically a nobody to me.
Wilder averages about 12k fans at his fights. Has never been on PPV. Has only one belt. And has fought only 1 boxer in the top 24 in the world right now.
Anthony Joshua has fought in front of 300k fans in his last 4 fights. Is a PPV star in the UK with over 1 million PPV buys per fight. Has 4 belt (yes the IBO is a belt too). Has fought 4 of the top 10 boxers in the world right now.
Must be said there's quite a gulf between the two of them when you look at the stats.
Even if his fight with Fury makes more money than he usually makes it doesn't mean that's Wilder's worth. Outside of Fury, Whyte and Joshua, Wilder goes back to his real worth. He doesn't come close to being a PPV success. Nor does he make much more than he usually does.
Joshua makes bank regardless of who he fights, that's a real money maker. Wilder needs an opponent to make more. But even then it's not guaranteed.
Hearn tried to do some bullshit where AJ could get a British ref stoppage and refuse a rematch.
We need a rematch clause that can be exercised whether it's win, lose, or draw.
B sides don't get rematch clauses. It's never happened in history. So this is beyond unreasonable to ask for. But hey, you Americans are always deluded and full of ****.
This fight happens when the deluded nobody Wilder starts talking sense. He's not getting half of the money, and he's not getting a rematch clause. To ask for those things just shows how difficult it is when dealing with these amateurs.

Lets see what the Fury fight does.
That road runs in 2 directions, despite what you are claiming. There is no other fight out there right now for Joshua that will pay him what 60% of the Joshua/Wilder fight would.
Come on man, Joshua fought Klitschko in his 19th fight - his 19th fight!
Congratulations to AJ. What he's accomplished thus far in his career is very impressive and I consider him the #1 heavyweight in the world. Klitschko was a big test early in his career and he passed the test. However, it was an old rusty Klitschko coming off a loss, a long layoff, and no tune ups. Still very ballsy for fight #19, but a calculated risk that paid off.
Wilder didn't "challenge himself" by fighting Ortiz until after 40 fights and 3 years of being champion. How can you keep calling yourself neutral and unbiased when you keep writing this stuff!
Wilder challenged himself when he fought Stiverne, who was #2 in the world at the time according to many leading experts (ESPN, Ring, etc, not that I personally recognize Ring).
Yes, he didn't have a signature DEFENSE of the title until King Kong, but you can't blame Wilder for Povetkin cheating twice.
Your argument seems to be that AJ was moved faster. Cong****. Yes he was. So? Doesn't change the fact that the smart business move was for Wilder to want AJ in 2017 or 2018, while the smart business move for AJ was to Want Wilder in 2019 or 2020.
A one time 50/50 split, champion vs champion for the undisputed and lineal titles. 60/40 for the winner in the rematch. After that, it's mandatory season (75/25) for whatever belts have not been stripped, until he loses or until the next unification...
When you have a money man against someone who isn't close to being a money man, and you think they should split it down the middle, then these are the reasons fights don't get made. Too much delusion by far. What you're supposing doesn't even make any ****ing sense. Any business man would laugh in your face at how crazy and deluded you really are.
