I have no reason to smear Hearn. I admire him greatly. He's a brilliant promoter and may go down as one of the best of all time. Like all great promoters, he's full of ****, but that's not an insult. That's part of the job. He's done an amazing job with AJ. He's done an amazing job with Whyte. Duco pushing the protest hard would hurt AJ vs Whyte. Hearn, as an extremely intelligent and talented business man did the right thing by getting Duco to drop it ASAP.

If you're under the impression that promoters are honorable people, I could understand why you would consider it a smear. Promoters are professional liars, so when there's no greater compliment I could give Hearn than praise his lying and manipulation skills.

I'm a Hearn fan. I like him personally. I got to finally spend some time with him recently and he did not disappoint. He's probably my favorite promoter in the game right now. Have absolutely nothing against him. And with him holding DAZN's fate in his hands, and with me relying on DAZN to continue to broadcast my company's fights, nobody on the planet is rooting for Hearn more than I am.
