As you said in a previous comment - in 2010, GGG won the same WBA MW title that was held by Hagler.

The super title that Sturm held had been literally created out of nowhere by the WBA to protect him from having to fight GGG.

How many A+ fighters has Golovkin faced? Let's say one in Canelo and he had been campaigning below 160lbs. I don't blame Golovkin for his era being mediocre. What can he do about it apart from jump in a time machine and fight Tommy and Marvin or Gerald and Julian?

The WBA then pulled a super title out of nowhere, and told GGG that the "real" WBA title was now only a regular title, and that he didn't have the right to fight for the super title.

Seriously mate, do you think that was acceptable?

If the WBA decided they needed a super title, why didn't they have Sturm (champion) and Golovkin (interim champion and No1 contender) fight for it, instead of Sturm and somebody else who was ranked below Golovkin?

Adnan Catic, of course is better known as Felix Sturm, the former German MW cash cow.

The reason for the rule change was revealed by a former employee of Universum, who promoted both Sturm and GGG.

Universum bribed the WBA to change their rules in order to have Sturm promoted to super champ so he didn't have to fight his mando with GGG, who was the interim champion. There had been no WBA super title at MW for 4 years till they did that.

Golovkin was then told that the title he had the right to fight for, as interim champion, had been downgraded to "regular" and was now vacant.

Anybody who knows the facts about that situation, and isn't biased against GGG, will accept that Sturm was a paper champion from that time on, and that Golovkin became the WBA MW champion when he beat Nilson Tapia for the vacant title in 2010.

I would rank Canelo more of a A- he has a stamina flaw.

Jacob's B+ for his highly suspect chin keeps him away from an A. But after his last fight that might even be to high??

"Golovkin had been Sturm's mandatory challenger for years, but he was unable to secure his shot. When Golovkin was finally on the verge of landing that shot, Sturm was mysteriously elevated to the status of "super champion" by the WBA. The status of "super champion" is usually reserved for boxers who unify at least two major titles. Golovkin was eventually made the "regular" champion by the sanctioning body.

When he left Universum, Sturm first approached Oner and was looking for help to find a loophole to prevent a match with Golovkin. Oner put Sturm in touch with a third party. The third party told Sturm that he could pay the WBA a sum of money to make him the "super champion" and prevent the mandatory fight with Golovkin."

if GGG had a problem with getting pased up, he could have gone out and won a different title.

If he was treated badly, why did he stick with the wba all that time?Hw shouldda moved on to another body and won a world title immediately.

He didnt, he was happy doing his regular thing until 2014. Its his fault that he didnt win a title till 2014.

He doesnt get to invent winning one, you have to go out and get it yourself just like everyone else.

in the event he was apparently gifted the title before Geale - which is grossly unfair.

GGG was given GIFTS ,not badly treated. You see things the oposite to what they really are.
