Danny is a terrible example of a hype job, he is undefeated against elite opposition.

A hype job is not someone who can only be beaten by the #2 P4P two divisions above. It's so stoooopid.

we shall see but 25% is terrible

Beats me why so many people are on here whining and complaining because the WBA won't bend their rules to give Jacobs a bigger slice of the pie if the fight goes to a purse bid.

Whatever Danny gets, Danny will keep. He won't be sharing it with any of those tossers, that's for sure.

It's the usual mandated split for the challenger in a WBA title fight purse bid. Are you Danny's missus, by any chance?

he has the talent to clean out 160, and compete at 168...he does this, he gets my vote for the hall and ATG status

Weeks before the Matthysse fight I posted it was a 50/50 fight. So I'm not one of those people who predicted a landslide favoring Lucas who was not undefeated coming to the Garcia fight. Danny fans say Lucas was a hype job. Danny beats him and all of a sudden it's his biggest win. A hype job. Khan was already got punked by Prescott and was swarmed by Peterson prior.

                    2) no....they have him in the p4p because of style preference, knockouts, and he hasnt beaten anyone elite, so he doesnt deserve high placement. Beating C and D level opposition doesnt warrant p4p consideration. he has the talent but his resume is thin and he isnt seeking challenges

3)proof is in the pudding and so far all we have is a 1/3 portion....substance>style....he hasnt answered a lot of questions in the ring, regardless of being ducked or whatever reason, while guys like kov, chocolatito, ward, crawford and taking and making big fights and taking risks

                    he is a hypejob..he is a good fighter...but a hypejob
You still havent mentioned these elite fighters in his division. You just deflected the question. I still want an answer.

If you talking about Ward taking risks by moving to LHW well he couldnt exactly make SMW anymore. Also why didn't he fight Bute or Dirrell at SMW? He hasnt fought a live body since the super 6. Kovalev has never moved up he is cleaning out his division. Gonzalez has cleaned out his division before he moved up. So again why can't Golovkin do the same thing and again I ask you NAME THE ELITE FIGHTERS IN GOLOVKIN'S DIVISION

To say that fighting Andre Ward, in a years time, for 50% of an unknown and unspecified purse, was the best financial option open to GGG last year is just nuts.

Golovkin had been .guaranteed a shot at the winner of Canelo vs Cotto next, if he beat Lemieux. He had also been promised a MW unification fight with Andy Lee after that, if Lee got past Saunders, which he was favourite to do.

They were all much better options, in terms of both risk and reward, than signing a contract with Ward for a fight a year down the line, at 168, which we now know would never have even have happened, because Ward can't make 168 any more.
Being interim champion is not an entity. Its only value is making you that organizations mandatory. So you can't describe the Rubio/Golovkin farce like it was some sort of unification because it wasn't. When Rubio went through with his fight against another alphabet organizations champion, he should stripped of his mandatory. A similar situation almost happened when Matthysse, then WBC mandatory champion decided to challenge Lamont Peterson then IBF champion. The only way Matthysse could keep his mandatory position was to agree to a 141lb contested non sanctioned bout. I'm no chess player, but uh check mate.
