Please stop with the double talk before you leave yourself tongue tied. At the time that the Ward fight was proposed it was bigger fight financially than any proposed middle weight fight for Golovkin. Anybody from 54-68,means anybody, end of story.
Because these moves started fairly recently. This is from Jan 2015 although the earliest mentions of this proposal were from earlier. It's fair to argue they just made it up for Golovkins sake, but the more widely accepted reason is that they felt under threat from AIBA APB project and other forays onto 'pro' territory.

Three of the four leading professional boxing organizations, the World Boxing Council, the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation are moving towards crowning one world champion in each weight division. WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman, in an interview with BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports said that in the next meeting of the three world organizations one of the topics on the agenda would be “a tournament of champions with champion against champion in some divisions” for a start.

And no, Ward wasn't the 'biggest fight' available to Golovkin, at least certainly that wasn't the way things appeared at the time. At the time Ward made his offer (for one interim fight each) Golovkin was mandated to fight the winner of Cotto / Canelo if he made it past Lemieux. The Ward offer would have put a prospective Ward fight squarely in the timeframe of a possible Cotto / Canelo MW unification. And yes. That would have been a bigger fight than GGG - Ward. OK, so it didn't work out, sucks for GGG but they didn't know at the time how events would play out.

I dunno what exactly 2 Quillins means but that's a direct quote, not even 2 months old

I gave you examples of when he bends and you say 'he never bends". What?

Why should he bend against Jacobs? Did Floyd bend against every nobody who wanted to fight him? Did Floyd give Berto 40/60%?

Emotional? I'm not sure why you're confusing calling you on your bull**** being "emotional". It's actually the polar opposite.

You've made 2 threads about Golovkin so far, and it's barely past noon. You still have time to make 3 more today.

And spare me your double standards. We all want to see every fighter fight better opponents, from Danny Garcia, to Manny, to Golovkin. But it does not mean let these lowlifes try to take advantage of you in every shape and form. Jumping up 15 lbs to fight Ward/Kov, draining for Canelo on demand, or giving Danny Jacobs or Lara a crapton of money as a reward for nothing is not gonna be on Golovkin's to do list.

BJS, Canelo, Golovkin rematch, Eubank Jr, Lee, etc, for much more money.

Oh wait, Jacobs said Golovkin was the best of his generation. I'm confused.
Because he iss in position to get a higher % if he signs before they go to a purse bid. If it gets to a purse bid, Jacobs is locked into 25%, but his promoter would control venue and TV rights. If they go to SHO, HBO may not let GGG fight on SHO, which could make GGG and his team vacate the belt.

Then Jacobs fights for the belt. If he wins, he can now make a deal to fight GGG for more money.

Canelo, for being required to defend his MW title against a mandatory challenger at the sanctioned MW limit?

Jacobs, because the WBA have told him that if his mandated fight with Golovkin goes to a purse bid, he will get same percentage split as any other WBA mandatory challenger?

Or maybe Eubank Jnr, because his dad wouldn't be given excutive control of the whole promotion if he fought Golovkin?

It's only haters who say he is a hype job. If he KOs Jacobs next and then KOs Saunders and then KOs Eubank within the next 6 or 8 months he would remain a hype job in their eyes. Only a 15 pound jump in weight and a KO win over the Ward-Kovalev winner would remove the hype job label they put on him.Few boxers or boxing experts ever calls him a hype job.

The link that you posted spends all of two sentences, vaguely exploring the possibility of champions challenging other champions with in the same divisions. To go from there to a champion becoming another champion's mandatory is a gargantuan leap. The Cotto/Canelo vs Golovkin unification was insubstantial, the Ward fight was a legitimate concrete offer, should he have taken that fight and won. He would have returned with even greater leverage, but as the saying goes,oh well.
