Jacobs made 1.5 millions fighting Quillin.
The problem is that Haymon payed him that even though the ratings were horrible (300k) and they sold less than 8k seats.

Now he uses it as his case to be payed more than that.

      Talk about being *******.
No fighter has ever accepted a flat fee for a big PPV fight. The purse is always divided in percentages. This is not Canelo-Lara or Canelo-Kirkland... We're talking about a fight that will sell close to a million if not more.

Team GGG love getting paid? tell that to the Haymon fighters that are being overpaid. That was said by your idol Mayweather.

Nah not a hype job but he still needs to prove himself more, fighting Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders then moving up to 168 to fight some of the top guys would do this.

I don't think you can call a him a hype job - he was proven as an amateur (345-5) with notable wins over Lee, Dirrell and Bute. His professional resume isnt the best but he has beaten some decent fighters in Murray, Macklin, Brook etc. Sure they are not the cream of the crop but they are decent opponents who have held belts at World level or who have pushed other world champions close. The manner in which GGG has destroyed some of these guys when other world champions struggled suggest that he is not a hype job.

Why turn down 10 Million (2 times as much as his highest payday to date) to fight a smaller fighter moving up in weight to fight him in Canelo? Canelo is the biggest star in boxing, beating him puts GGG at the top, Jacobs beating GGG doesn't give Jacobs the same kind of reward.

                  Canelo outweights Golokvin.

He can make 154, GGG never could since he was 23 years old otherwise he would've already been fighting there, too many big fights at 154 since he turned pro. 160 was a **** division since the first day GGG turned pro.

GGG is 2-3 Inches taller with a noticeably bigger frame, that's called being a naturally bigger fighter. rehydration weight has nothing to do with natural size.

And what about the rest of my comment?

Rehydration weight? or do you mean the real weight before getting drained to make 154?

There's a reason why canelo is moving up to 160, and it's because he struggles to make 154, as himself said in recent interviews. If he were really a 154 fighter, he would stay there. He's not "daring to be great" by moving up to 160, he admitted he has weight issues.

While height plays a role, it's weight what gives you power and a better chin.

Smith and Khan both had height advantage over Canelo. It didn't matter at all. Even Josesito Lopez had the same height than Golovkin. It didn't matter.
