Brook is not a Haymon fight, but Porter is a Haymon fighter. That fight happened, mandatory or not. Alexander vs. Khan is happening next month too. But I guess that's a bad thing right? Haymon fighters do actually fight each other. But you are blind to this fact.
You talk a lot about 'fights we want.' But 'fights we want' is subjective. A good number of those ended up being duds. And the fights you folks on this board didn't necessary want, ended up being very exciting. I'm not a fan of Bob Arum, but I won't sit here and be ****** and say he didn't make good fights this year. Top Rank put up a lot of good fights this year, but some weren't that good either. Same goes with Golden Boy.
This is professional real world boxing, not fantasy boxing. All your little fantasy match-ups won't happen in reality. That's just the way it is, no matter the manager, no matter the Promoter. There's too many things at play in this business. Fights don't get made because of money, fights don't get made out of a lack of interest, fights don't get made because of Promotional ties, fights don't get made because of network ties, fights don't get made because of fighter egos, etc. It sucks, but it is what it is. This ain't the NBA or NFL whatsoever.
I mean, look at Rigo. All of YOU guys on this board love him and watch him, but he's not getting that love from the general public and networks. And because of that we have no idea when he'll be back on TV again.
