and thats a problem for who?
if floyd has such a loyal fanbase then he shouldnt have any problem fighting on 4th of july or MLK weekends... floyd running away from maidana did very little to keep his loyal fanbase, lets see if he can compete with canelo-cotto next year... make your predictions...
And if Canelo has such a loyal fanbase he can fight in Mexico. Why isn't he doing it??
if floyd wants cinco he'll have to do the pac fight then. no other floyd fight is bigger than canelo cotto ... oscar clearly pulling the strings here ... her wants Floyd v Pac! it's sad that this is the sort of thing that needs to be done to try to force floyd into fighting him
Don't know why Floyd fans are crying about a date. If mayweather was the true "PPV king" he should fight on any date and do big numbers. Why piggy back on Hispanics if his fan base is so strong? Manny doing 800,000 buys is more impressive than what mayweather is doing.
Sigh. Some fans are going to get an extremely harsh reality check when those PPV #'s for Pacquiao-Algieri come in. If they ever come in.

Harsh reality check? I have yet to see one Pac fan claim that it will do big numbers. Everyone pretty much knows that this fight will tank. Algieri is unknown to the casual fanbase. That along with this fight being staged over seas and with little promotion here in the states, I expect around 400 - 500k buys if that. I dont even think Arum is expecting big ppv #'s. He's just happy with the huge sight fee that he's getting from hosting this fight in Macau.
How about having some respect for an all time great? Mayweather only has one year left, and only 2 more fights. Why can't Canelo just wait his turn and let a legend ride out on top? Not to mention that legend completely outclassed him. I can certainly understand him wanting these dates, but it's only one more year that he would have to wait, and then he can have those dates for as long as he can keep winning. He should hope that he will one day be mentioned in the same breath as Mayweather when his career is over.
Show some respect and bow down to your father, Canelo.
