It's like saying the Pacers would have to beat the Heat by 20 for it to count as a win since the Heat won the title last year

Angel Garcia, father/trainer of WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, says Mauricio Herrera did not do enough to win the titles on Saturday night in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Herrera put forth a very good effort and fell on the cards with a majority decision. One judge had scored it a 114-114 draw, the exact score that several experts tallied at ringside.

Angel complains that Herrera fought dirty and the referee allowed it to continue. He wasn't impressed with Danny's victory, but fully believes his son pulled in enough rounds to get the decision.

btw, what's the point of handpicking guys that can't punch for a title defense if the law is "you have to knock out the champ to beat the champ."

because apparently you can't use boxing skill, good defense, a good gameplan, a great jab, enough power punches to bust the champ up and make him look ****** for 12 rounds to take his belts.

I hope someone beat the **** out this idiot one day. Did you guys see how many low blows Danny was throwing? GTFOH. Your son is an overachiever and he did his best. But Herrera beat him and will do so again in a rematch.

Tell your son to stop telegraphing his right hand punches. Did you guys notice how many freaking time Danny wanted to throw the right but couldn't as Herrera simply KNEW It was coming and moved outta the way?

Danny seems like a good kid but I find myself wishing he'd get ktfo only because his old man Angel is a disgrace ..a real whacko who needs psychiatric care. He runs his mouth off at pre fight shows insulting his son's opponent meanwhile does he get in the ring? Nope. When he talks is sounds like someone who took waaay too much LSD......his brain.cells are fried.
